Lance's POV

People all over the school are vanishing. One day it just started happening.

I'm scared.

I'm worried.

I'm wondering when it will be my turn.

I was wandering around the school halls, pretending to be lost so I could ditch class. My footsteps echoed eerily as I walked on.

"No! No! Please! What are you doing?! Let me go! Stop! STOP!!"

I halted, as shrieks filled the hallway, cutting off with a cry of pain. What the quiznak was going on? I raced ahead, willing myself to stop. But that voice... It was the voice of a girl I had shot a quick flirty smile at, and maybe I had said a few pick up lines. She was cute, yeah, but not attractive to me.

Somebody was harming her. Somewhere where nobody could hear her cries and pleas. Unless you were nearby.

I ran until I was out of breath. As I peeked around a corner, I sucked in a sharp breath of horror.

Her body was mangled and broken, and blood was pooling around her neck. Somebody was standing over her, and I swear I'd recognize that mullet anywhere.

Keith!

He was a psycho! He was a murderer! I can't believe I ever thought we were friends... I thought, shuddering. Then I took out my phone and snapped a photo to show to the police.

Uh oh. Keith whipped around. The shutter had sounded off. He looked at me, his eyes cold. Then his gaze softened into admiration.

"Hello Lance..." He murmured. A squeak left my lips and I ran for it. "You're not going anywhere." He ran after me, and suddenly my feet weren't on the ground.

"Let me go!" I yelped in surprise, and fear. Keith's grip was strong, and it didn't lose its strength even as I kicked and swung my fists at him. However, countless hours at the gym after school had done wonders for him.

"I'm not going to let you go." Keith smirked. "You are mine, and you will always be mine."

I didn't want to know what he meant by that, so I just hung my head in utter defeat. Where was he taking me? What was he gonna do to me?! I whimpered. Keith's grip on me turned from QuIzNaK yOuR gOiNg To KiLl mE, to Ahhh, that's much more comfortable!~

I sighed. I just wanted to go home. Keith didn't stop walking until we were far from school. "Keith..." I muttered

"Yes Lance?~" The boy replied, his voice cheerful.

"Where are you taking me? I just want to go home!" I raised my voice to a shrill whine, a high pitched plea. "Keith... please..."

"Lance, I promise everything is going to be ok. I'll be here for you." Keith whispered back. I didn't want Keith. I wanted the old Keith. Not this new foreign one. This murderer. This insane-

My thoughts shriveled as he opened up a door to a house in the middle of nowhere, next to a dazzling lake and forest. It was amazing, but I didn't want to stay here a second longer with him.

As we entered, Keith set me down on a couch gently. I sighed, as the cold fabric of the piece of furniture cooled my aching sores.

"Now, you stay here." Keith said sternly. He leaned in and placed a kiss on my forehead. I gulped, wanting to jump in the lake. To be rid of this monster.

How would I ever get out?
