Lance didn't tell anyone what happened that day. He felt as if he had seen too much. Far too much.
Before he knew it, a week had gone by. Lance's two best friends, Pidge and Hunk had obviously noticed something was up. They bugged and pestered him for a while, but after he assured them nothing was wrong and that he was just stressed about school, they left the topic alone. It wasn't that he didn't trust them, he was just scared. What if the killer was watching and killed them all because they knew? So if you asked him, it was for safety.
As expected, more and more students started to go missing throughout the school. Strangely enough, they were all girls. And not just girls, girls Lance had talked with recently. Girls he had flirted with, shot finger guns at. (Coincidence? He thinks not.)
When the weekend rolled around Lance decided he needed to calm down. Usually he would've taken a long hot bath. But he felt this stress and anxiety was extreme. (He didn't want to die. He really, really didn't.) So he was reckless, and went to the animal shelter and bought a cat. He named her Blue, due to her smooth, silky gray-blue fur, as well as her big washed out blue eyes.
Luckily he wasn't yelled at for getting a cat, and Lance's whole family welcomed Blue into their home. He was thankful for that, really.
It was difficult to distract himself from what Lance saw on that day. He was always scared, always paranoid that something might happen. He stopped flirting, stopped talking to mostly everyone except for his friends.
People stopped going missing for a while.
Sorry that part took so long! I haven't forgotten this, don't worry. I don't exactly have an upload schedule, like Ive said before, so sorry about that. Some parts will take longer to be uploaded than others. So, did you guys enjoy?
