Lance's POV
Keith exited the room, and I gave a sigh of relief, slouching in my spot.Would I ever leave? What was going on with Keith? Had he been the cause of the other students, that had gone missing over the past several weeks?
Now that I think about it... All of the missing students were girls... Girls I had talked to... flirted with...
Oh quiznak. Keith's gone mad.
As the crazy man re-entered the room, I sat up. What would he do with me? Keith pulled up a chair from a two person table, and sat across from me, gazing into my eyes lovingly.
"Lance, why are you scared?" He asked, his voice sickeningly sweet. "We are friends, aren't we? Just like when we were younger?"
No, we were not friends. But out of fear, I only responded with a quiet, "Y-Yes... I suppose... we are... um..." I swallowed down the lump in my throat. "Friends..."
Keith suddenly leaned closer, his pupils tiny. "So then, why are you scared?" He whispered. Keith placed a hand gingerly on my shoulder. I flinched at the touch. "See?" Keith pressed on. "You're terrified of me. Did I do something to scare you? Oh, Lance! I didn't mean it... I was only... disposing of them. But then again, they never stood a chance against us, did they?" He then apologized.
"You killed innocent people!" I cried out. Keith shook his head, muttering. "B-Besides... I was never... attracted to them... I was never attracted to anybody in school!" He said, trying to make sure Keith did no more harm. Those poor families.
"So... we're good?" Keith questioned. I replied with a strained nod. He giggled. "You're so silly, Lance..." He murmured. "We're normal friends again?"
I widened my eyes. No, we were not. I thought we had gone over this. But then again, I whispered, "Y-Yes... Normal... Friends..."
