Gnasty's Dragon

Justin looked nervously at the portal as Spyro hopped in it. He was to face an enemy that was so tough, he tested his super powered scepter on harmless sheep. Before his encounter with Spyro, he would've been all over the idea. But now that it was all real... He thought something totally different.

Spyro came and popped his head out of the portal. "Come on!" He said almost impatiently.

"Uh right! I'm coming!" Justin said as he jumped into the portal. He floated through the sky. He felt weird kind of. How was he flying without trying? He looked down and saw that the sky was almost infinite. That was until he saw the land that he came crashing down on. His landing skills nearly cost him to crash into Spyro.

Spyro looked as if say "Are you alright?"

Justin said, "I'm okay!"

"Look Justin, another dragon!" Sparx exclaimed looking up.

They looked up. Surely there was a dark purple dragon flying across the sky.

"Who are you?" Spyro said to the dragon. The dragon looked down and ignored him.

Justin looked in confusion. Another purple dragon?

"He must be working for Ripto!" Sparx said in suspicion.

"How could you just think like that? Maybe he's a dragon like me." Justin said.

Spyro said, "He's around this part. He has to be."

Justin didn't want to argue. Though it was slightly distracting him from the battle that they were going to. "Okay..."

Spyro and Justin took no time to jump on the platforms that was surrounded by water. Justin nearly slipped and fell in the water but caught his grip. He wasn't planning to drown. The water looked deep. He had to glide to the other platforms at other level. But the question was how?

Spyro glided to the other platforms that plagued the water. He waited for Justin to do the same. Justin looked on and said, "Um... I don't know how to glide really."

Spyro looked at Justin exasperated. Sparx looked in confusion.
"Just spread your wings Justin!" Spyro said. "And don't look down!"

Justin did just that though it was a wobbly time. I'm not going to get used to this. He thought.

Justin came out of the platform ridden cave. He looked at the ever annoyed and confused looking Spyro as he lead the way. The two dragons flamed and shocked the Riptocs that resembled wizards.

The two then had to glide again to the next island. Justin gulped in terror. Justin saw that the ground was not there in the islands at all.

"Oh heck no..." Justin said. He got nervous.

Spyro said, "You can do this Justin. Glide by spreading your wings and most importantly, don't look down."

Spyro glided to the next island. Justin held his breath, moved backwards, ran and glided down to the island, with his eyes closed!

Spyro smiled at Justin for trying his best, though Justin was not sure that he was smiling through being proud of him.

As the two dragons turned around, they saw the villain that started the reason why Spyro was a famous dragon...

Gnasty Gnorc!

"Wha?!" Justin said. He couldn't believe it. He thought it was going to be a battle with Ripto! Where'd the Riptocs come from if the boss here was Gnasty Gnorc?

"So, we meet again, Spyro!" Gnasty Gnorc said.

"Where'd you come from?!" Justin said as the words slipped from his mouth.

"I came from the alternate world where Ripto's is headed. He even let me control his henchmen so I wouldn't have to do any work! Surprise right?"

Spyro looked at his old nemesis with a frown.

Justin just eyed him. Ripto was evil. More evil than he imagined.

Spyro said suddenly, "When we get done with you..."

"Oh you ought to hurry and try, I heard that the other dragons are in deep peril in the other portals."

"What?!" Justin said.

"But even with two dragons I can't be defeated easily. Not anymore!"

With that, Gnasty Gnorc threw his scepter's power at the two dragons. Both Justin and Spyro moved out of the way.

Gnasty Gnorc summoned something by aiming his scepter in the sky. Which in turn summoned the dark purple...Teenaged dragon?!

"Oh no! No!" Justin whispered.

The dragon's eyes were red as fire.

Gnasty Gnorc just said snarkly, "Have fun!"

The dragon growled and breathed out dark purple fire.

Justin moved out of the way. What was he going to do?

Spyro looked on and saw that there were projectiles coming from somewhere. He ran and caught it before the dark purple dragon could.

Spyro threw it at the dragon and it immediately stunned the dragon... For a few seconds. Spyro tried to charge into the dragon in time.

Justin tried to shock the dragon. No effect.

Gnasty looked on and laughed.

"What's happening?" Justin said.

Spyro looked at Justin quickly and said, "I don't know!"

Justin thought, "Unless..."

Gnasty looked on and said, "There's nothing you can possibly do!"

Justin said, "Spyro, try flaming the dragon!"

Spyro went with Justin's idea and flamed the evil dragon.

As Spyro flamed, Gnasty's scepter was glowing.

No effect on the dragon. The dragon swung his tail and knocked the dragons to the ground.

Gnasty looked as though he was enjoying it. He was.

Justin noticed that the scepter glowed a orange color as orange as Spyro's flame. He had an idea.

It was crazy but it might work.

Justin ran towards Gnasty Gnorc.

Spyro looked as confused and shocked as ever. "Justin! No!"

Justin went and attacked with his charge attack by trying to ram Gnasty Gnorc. Gnasty threw his attack at Justin but missed. At the same time that Justin moved out of the way, he shocked the scepter as much as he could and it worked no more.

The scepter was destroyed.

Justin jumped at the explosion of the scepter core.

Gnasty Gnorc was angry at Justin for destroying his scepter. At the same time, the dark purple dragon went back to normal.

The dragon held his head in pain. "What the heck happened?"

Justin looked at the dark purple dragon in relief. He was right. The dragon wasn't all that bad... But Spyro... Oh no.

Gnasty came at Justin ready to get him but the dark purple dragon, seeing that villain, attacked the gnorc with his purple breath.

With that, Gnasty ran away in pain with his butt on fire.

Spyro looked on in pain. He looked at Justin in annoyance and tried to get up. "You are insane, you know that?"

Justin looked on and said, "I'm sorry Spyro! Are you okay?"

"Do I look okay?" Spyro said in annoyance.

The dark purple dragon looked at Spyro and Justin and came towards them.

Spyro looked at the dragon and then tried to get up.

"No, he's good." Justin said. "He was possessed by Gnasty Gnorc."

Spyro looked on and stayed at his spot. Sparx, who was green said, "We have to get out of here and stop Ripto."

"Okay!" Justin said confidently .

"I know the way out." The dark purple dragon said.

"Who are you?" Justin asked.

"Alex."

"I'll lead the way." Spyro said in annoyance. "You stay behind. Both of you."

As the three dragons walked out of the realm and into the vortex that exits them out, Justin was worried about Spyro.

Spyro himself felt like Justin was not really used to the dragon hero work. Who was Justin? Why couldn't he glide?

When the three dragons flew out of the portal, everything was back to normal. The dragons and elders cheered.
