Chapter 15

"What..the hell..was that?" Alex said clearly and almost angry.

"What the hell was what?" I ask him confused.

"Alex, lets not discuss this no-" Nat was saying as I looked over to my left to buckle my seatbelt.

"Guys, where is Lillie???" I asked interupting Nat and the two brothers looked at eachother worriedly and then looked at me.

"FUCK!" I screamed as I feverishly unbuckled my seatbelt and opened my door and ran out. I saw Nat and Alex running right behind me until I reached the pool. I looked around and when I looked into the pool I saw a little girl sinking.

"LILLIE!" I cried as tears were starting to form in my eyes as I ripped off my shirt, shorts, and shoes and threw them at Alex. I ran up to the pool and dived in. I quickly grabbed her body before her head hit the bottom of the in-ground pool and brought her up to surface. She was unconsious and wasn't breathing. I layed her frail and innocent body on a lounge chair. The tears were streaming down my face. I didn't know CPR!!

"Do you guys know CPR?!" I asked them as not calm as could me.

"I do!" Alex said and quickly got by Lillie's side. Her opened her mouth and put his mouth up to hers. Her was pumping her chest and doing everything he could to save her. I stood beside them and watched as Nat held me in his arms. I was so scared, I didn't want to lose my sister she is the only one I have, I can't lose her! Alex put his ear up to her heart. I cried into Nat's chest and he held me tight as I looked over and hoped for good results.

"Her heart is beating." Alex says finally.

"Oh thank god!" I say a little relieved.

"She is starting to breathe, we should take her to the hospital." Alex said picking her up and cradling her. I got a towel and wrapped it around her and smiled.

"Thanks for your help." I say to him kindly.

"It was no prob-" He said but got cut off when I pecked his lips and smiled at him. He smiled back at me and we got in the car once again. I held Lillie in my arms and I had gotten my clothes on once again even though I was soaking wet.

"Alex I'm sorry for throwing my clothes at you I was just-" I say

"It's fine. I understand." he said back looking out his window in the front passenger seat.

"and Nat I'm sorry for getting your shirt soaking wet..." I say with a giggle.

"It's alright. This shirt needs a wash anyways." he says and laughs. I look out of the window and back at the beautiful and delicate little girl unconscious in my arms. I feel the tears forming in my eyes as I look out of the window for a while watching the outside world.

"This is all my fault..." I mumble with tears streaming down my face.

"What?" Nat asked me gently.

"Nothing." I say softly and look back out of the window. He turns around and looks at me and rubs my leg a little bit to comfort me.

"It will be okay." he says in the same tone.

"I hope so." I say and wipe a tear from my face. We pulled into the lot of the hospital and I reluctantly got out of the car. Alex took Lillie out of my hands and into his and held her gently. We walked into the hospital and went right up to the desk. I told Alex that he should go sit down with Lillie and that Nat and myself would check us in.

"Maybe you should go sit with Alex and Lillie. I can handle this." Nat said.

"Oh okay. Yeah I guess I can do that." I said. After Nat had a short conversation with the nice woman at the desk we got right into a room. We laid Lillie down on the hospital bed and we all sat around her. The doctor came in straight away and Nat, Alex and I left the room. We looked through the window in the door as the doctor examined Lillie and she was hooked up to a couple machines. She was hooked up to one of the monitors where you can see the pace of the heart beat. I was just starring at that one hoping that the pace wouldn't increase or decrease all at once. I had called my parents after just starring and I just had Nat talk to them because I just couldn't. I felt like it was all my fault and now we are here. At the hospital, just hoping and praying that Lillie will be okay. I want her to be okay. She is my little sister. Not only is she just my little sister, she is my only sister and I love her more than anything in the world. I can't and refuse to not lose her. The doctor came out of the room when Nat got off the phone with my parents and gave my phone back to me.

"You guys can come in now." the doctor said with a smile. I tried to smile back and walked into the room. Lillie was awake and she was lying on the bed. I slowly approached her as she looked at me walk across the room. My body was trembling and I felt as everything was falling apart in my life. I sat in a chair next to the bed and took her hand in mine.

"Sissy, what happened?" Lillie asked me quietly. I was unsure of how I was supposed to respond to that and I looked over at Nat and Alex. They were giving me looks as the same as saying that I should just explain everything that has happened...
