Which One? (Nat & Alex Wolff)

Chapter 5

I woke at about 7 am to take a shower. It's Saturday and I have to work ughhh. I really don't feel like working but whatever. I undress and put my bathrobe on to walk down the hall in. As I walked into the bathroom I was thinking of the weirdest dream I had last night. I had a dream that I was watching a movie with Nat & Alex Wolff, I chuckled to myself. Like that would ever happen. Haha, never, I thought and shook it off. I got into the shower and I only had to take a quick one today. As I knew Lillie was sleeping I decided to keep my singing to almost a whisper. I sang only Nat & Alex songs of course I decided to sing Illuminated, Thump Thump Thump, and Fishin' For Love just because I was only taking a 10 minute shower.

Yes, I decided to sing a NBB song because why not right? Exactly. I don't think I sound too bad in the shower, but I'm kinda discouraged about my singing anyways. I got out and wrapped my hair in a towel and tied my bathrobe in a bow. I walked out feeling ratchet and tired, but I'm ready for this day to start. Mom must be home because there is something smelling sooo good downstairs. I can't wait! Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, I would hate to miss out. I get dressed in normal clothes and comb my hair. I put on my glasses and head downstairs. I reach the kitchen. "It smells so good in here oh my god!" I say as I turn into the kitchen from the livingroom.

"Thanks, I made it from scratch!" Nat said. Wait? What?! Last night was not a dream...it wad a reality...I sat down at the table next to Lillie and across from Alex.

"Good Morning!" Alex said with a half smile.

"Good Morning!" I say as I smile back at him. I yawned and asked them "Did you guys sleep well last night?"

"Alright I guess," Nat said. "Alex slept like a baby though." I started chuckling a little and I saw Alex's cheeks turn pink. "Who wants French Toast?" Nat called out to us.

"Meeeee!!!!" Lillie, Alex and I yelled. Nat served our plates with two pieces of pure goodness on fine china (if paper plates count as fine china haha). I grabbed the syrup out of the pantry and set the table. Nat sat down to join us. "OJ anyone?" I asked looking into the fridge.

"I'm good sissy." Lillie said in her little voice.

"I'll take some please!" Nat said politely.

"Me too please." Alex said right after. I got out three half sized glasses and filled them about 3/4 full of OJ. I brought them to Nat and Alex and I sat down next to Nat.

"Well done Chef Nat!" I say jokingly putting a piece of French toast in my mouth.

"Thank You it was my pleasure my lady!" he replies back in a funny proper sort of way. For the rest of breakfast it was pretty quiet as we ate Nat's delicious food that he made for us. After I finished I threw my plate in the trash and put my silverware and glass in the dishwasher along with the rest of the table's dishes that needed to be taken care of. I went back upstairs to do my hair and makeup. I kept my makeup simple: foundation, powder, liquid eyeliner, tightlined eyeliner and mascara with curled eyelashes. I put my hair up in a high side ponytail and then I was done. I got dressed in my work clothes and made it back downstairs when I got a text from my mom.

Mom: Sorry we aren't going to be home on time to bring you to work! Try to find another ride honey! x

Taylor: Okay mom. x

"Well this is just great." I say a little irritated.

"Why, what's wrong?" Nat asked me sincerely.

"I don't have a ride to work." I say with a sigh.

"I can drive you!" Nat said, excitedly.

"Really? Wow thanks Nat!" I say back and hugged him. "Well we gotta leave like now then! My shift starts in 20 minutes!" I say fratically putting my shoes on.

"Okay lets go!" he said.

"Bye Lillie, Bye Alex!" I say as I pull them in for a hug.

"Have fun!" Alex said sarcastically with a smirk.

"Thanks dude!" I say back and wink at him. Nat and I rush out of the door and into my mom's car. She won't mind, I don't think.

We pulled out of my driveway and onto the street. Both of his hands were on the steering wheel and his eyes were on the road. My hands were awkwardly on my lap until I reached to turn the radio on. Nat did the same thing at the same time and our fingers touched. "Sorry!" I say under my breath.

"It's okay." He says quietly looking me in the eyes and smiles. I smile back but sort of uncontrollably. His eyes turn back to the road and mine to the window for a moment. But then I am just sucked into starring at this gorgeous boy sitting next to me. I just stare at him until he breaks the silence.

"So I didn't know this store even hired 14 year olds." He said.

"Yeah me either, but it pays really good." I reply.

"Oh that's good." he says.

"Yeah I guess so haha." I say back. I feel this sort of connection with Nat that I can't put my finger on. I mean I loved him since I was about 7 years old, Alex too, but I don't know my feelings confuse me. We arrived at my work and I unbuckled my seatbelt. "Thanks Nat! My shift is over in 5 hours do you think you can pick me up?"

"Yes of course I can!" He said.

"Really, Thank you so much!" I say sincerely.

He took my hand in his and held it for a minute. He looked at me and I looked at him until we got embarrassed and looked away. This connection was meaning something to me and it just makes me feel amazing...
