Hello!
Okay, so before you read this story I want to explain a few short things, but feel free to skip this part. You will not be lost or won't understand the story if you don't read this, don't worry.
First off, the plot and the characters of The Maze Runner do not belong to me; they are owned by James Dashner. I do, on the other hand, own Gale and her story.
(this may change in the future if new, unheard characters are added to the story which will obviously or most likely be owned by me)
Another thing is: I will be following the books.
If you're confused by that, what I mean is: I will use the books as a base for DYSPHORIA, not the movies. So, if you haven't read the books and are planning to, I advise you not to read this story.
The movies also don't contain the same plots, there's a lot of things that change transitioning from the books to the movies and even some scenes (a lot) which they didn't add. I also highly suggest reading the books if you have watched the movies and enjoyed them.
And one last thing, Gale appears about a year before Thomas does and, in the books, they don't say what anybody's age really is. So, I'm going to guess that around this time she's about fifteen or sixteen.
