The news declared that today was the end of the world. Doomsday had finally come. The sun wouldn't come out. The whole sky was dark, power went out globally. Global warming sped up until it grew dangerously hot. The glaciers and Antarctica were melting. Animals started to drop dead from heat exhaustion. All of the bodies of water were evaporating. The dead were being cooked in their graves. Blood was boiling. It turned into the survival of the fittest. Old people, fat people, children and babies perished first. All of the humidity caused the remaining water to form into hurricanes and the unbreathable air into tornadoes. Homes were wiped out and lives were taken. Radios and phone lines stopped working. Cell phones and other utilities caught houses on fire. The high winds spread the fire quickly. Storm cellars were ripped from the earth and carried into the eye of the storm. Flying debris killed millions. Nowhere was safe. Labs that dealt with chemicals exploded. There was another repeat of the dust bowl. Sand and dirt ripped through the air, tearing things apart and cutting skin. Plants were utterly destroyed. If this carried on, everyone would surely die. All of a sudden, the chaos stopped. The sky transformed into a sunny afternoon. The power came back on. Everything went back to normal. Like it never happened. All of the T.V.'s came back on to reveal a news report stating "Due to a solar flare, everyone was just hallucinating. Nothing happened."
