At last, my love has come along.
My lonely days are over.

I woke up this morning at six o'clock so I could go to my scheduled hair appointment at the barber shop. I was getting part of the left side of my hair cut off. Nobody knew that I was doing this and no one had seen my dress. I had surprises for everyone.

After I threw on some shorts and a tank top and braided the hair that I was leaving out, I took my suitcases and put then in my car and my wedding dress. Then, I left the house for my barber appointment.

When I left the barber shop, I drove over to my other hair appointment. Two hair dressers worked on my curls so it only took them an hour to finish. By the time they finished my hair, it was 9:45 and it was time for me to head over to the ballroom. I called Chance to let him know that I was on my way and to make sure that Ty was nowhere around.

"Wassup, sissy." Chance answered the phone.

"Hey, I'm on my way. Make sure Ty is not around and I'm going to need help getting my bags out of the car."

"A'ight. One." I hung up the phone.

I parked my car and straightened the bonnet on my head. Then, I got out of my car and began to pull things out of my car. Shawn, Mike, and Chance came over to my car and helped me.

"Good morning." They greeted me.

"Good morning. Thanks for coming to help me." I responded.

"It's no problem." Mike responded.

We walked upstairs to an empty room.

Once they put my stuff in the room, Shana, Kiara, Melissa, Lala, and Jaya walked into the room.

"Hello, hello." I greeted them.

"Hey. Did you bring the bouquets?" Shana asked.

"Yeah." I grabbed the box off of the couch.

I handed Kiara the baby blue one, Shana the blue one, Melissa the purple one, Jaya the lavender one, and Lala the white one.

"These are beautiful." Melissa says smelling the flowers.

"Compliments to Sasha. She chose them." I say.

"Okay, we're going to go to the residence hall to help Sasha. Then, we're going to get dressed." Kiara says.

"Alright. I'm about to do my makeup then I'll be down there."

"Okay." They walked out of the room and I locked the door.

I looked at myself and smiled. Then, a tear fell down my cheek. I missed my mother so much. I wish she was here to watch me walk down the aisle with my dad. I hoped she was looking down on me, smiling at the woman that I've become.

After I dried my tear, I began to put on some light makeup. The only thing that I did was my eyebrows and my eye makeup which was silver glitter eye-shadow and faux lashes. I put on some nude matte lipstick because I didn't want any lipstick to smear on Ty's face when I kissed him.
