"Ugh, mom! I knew I shouldn't have told you." I spat at my mother. "I thought I could trust you without telling anyone about this, but obviously not."

"I know, I'm sorry. Next time I promise I won't tell if you ask." she said softly to me, trying to be calm.

I guess she's trying not to start a fight right before I head to the bus.

"That's exactly what you said last time, but that didn't happen, now, did it?" I said angrily towards her.

"I really am sorry though, Ali." she told me sympathetically.

This is why I never tell my mom anything anymore. She always tells someone else even though I ask her not to. I told her about this girl, Lydia, I babysit for, and telling her my minor and major problems with her and said the words 'do not tell anyone.' But she went and told my aunt and my cousin. Ugh, she just really aggravates me a lot.

"Whatever, mom. I have to go." I say, annoyed as I slam the door behind me.

So, today I have school for the millionth day in a row and I'm getting tired of it. I'm thinking of dropping out. I'm sitting on the bus with my friend Brian. He's told so many stories I've cried laughing so hard.

"I bet her husband has a flappy bird." Brian says with a completely straight face.

I burst out laughing, resulting in everyone on the bus looking towards me.

Brian eventually started chuckling at my sudden outburst.

After we get off the bus, we say our goodbyes and go our separate ways.

Nothing cool has happened today, but I have this weird feeling in my stomach that something's gonna happen today... but I'm not exactly sure what.

Heading to lunch, I spot my best friend, Michaela, waving to me over to the lunch table. I'm probably not going to eat today. School lunch is so gross.

"Hey, Ali! Haven't seen you all day, what's up?" she asks me.

"Eh, same old same old. Nothing new. Anything with you today?"

"In one of my classes there's a new kid, I don't remember what his name is, but he is so hot!" she tells me excitedly.

Let me tell you, her taste in boys is so bad it's sickening.

"Maybe to you. I bet if I saw him I'd throw up considering the guys you think are hot." I smirk at her.

She scoffs. "Whatever, Alison. But I think you'd say the same." Leaving that conversation behind us.

Leaving my last class to head to the buses to go home, I see a boy I've never seen before here at school. I look at him and take in his every feature.

He looks around 6 foot, he has this amazing color of blonde hair. Against his lightly tanned skin, he has these beautiful, perfect blue eyes that look almost lost, but observant, like he doesn't know where to go. He's wearing a black Blink 182 shirt with black skinny jeans. He looks so intriguing to me I can't stop looking.

He catches me staring at him and I quickly look the other way. I look back at him after a few seconds and he's still looking at me. He pierces his eyes straight into my bright green orbs, not breaking eye contact.

I feel someone run into me from behind.

"Hey! Don't just stand in to middle of the hallway!" someone yells to me, turning around.

I didn't even realize I had been standing in the middle of this hallway at school just staring at this unknown boy. I widen my eyes and quickly start walking away, but stopped by someone grabbing my wrist.

I'm whipped around by none other than the boy I was observing.

"Hey are you okay?" his deep voice asks.

"Uhm, yeah.. sorry, I'd just never seen you before so I was just.. observing?" I stutter out.

He chuckles. "You looked pretty determined to observe me. You know, people say if you take a picture it lasts longer."

He says with a smirk, as he lets go of my wrist.

"Where are you from?" I ask, noticing his accent.

"Australia." He tells me, timidly, almost too quiet to hear.

"You look sad about being from Australia," I joke to him. But immediately seeing a hint of anger. "Wait, did I upset you?"

He looks at me one last time, almost like a glare, before turning on his heel and walking away, leaving me the most confused girl ever.

I walk into my house after getting home from school smelling cinnamon immediately remembering the new scentsy we had just gotten.

I drop my stuff off in my room and lay on my bed. Why didn't he answer me when I asked why he looked sad?

I went to the kitchen to grab a glass of crushed ice to chew on, a habit I've picked up sometime in my life. Maybe I should eat something. Nah, I need to lose some weight.

I sit on the couch and turn the TV on.

"Alison!!"

Ugh, why does my sister need me?

"What, Sarah?!!"

"Can you come here??" she screams across the house.

"Ugh! Fine!" I yell as I get up. "What do you need?"

"How do I play Bm on guitar?"

she asks timidly.

"Oh, you just put your finger across here and put you other fingers here." I explain.

"Ohh okay! Thanks sis!" she says with a smile.

"No prob, Bob." I say, winking at her.

Playing guitar has always been my specialty. I really hope I could become something someday...

Sometime later, I hear the front door opening, signaling my mom just got home from work. I breathe in, opening my mouth to tell her about school today, but quickly shutting my mouth remembering our small argument this morning. There's no doubt she'd tell someone. And besides, I want to find out what this boy is like before I start telling anyone about him.

Before I know it, I'm in my bed falling asleep around 2am.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I wake up suddenly, feeling a sweat drop running down my cheek. I just had a nightmare, I thought to myself. I look at the time to see it is 5am and I don't normally get up till 6:30. So I go back to sleep.
I hear an annoying buzzing noise and slowly open my eyes. Ugh, not another day of school.
