zach was sat on daniel's bed, the pair looking at zach's phone.

"please tell me how the fuck you got his nudes in the first place?!" daniel exclaims throwing zach's phone down on the bed. he turns to face his friend who was smirking at him smugly.

"he probably was sexting gabbie." zach rolls his eyes picking up his phone.

"gross," daniel pretends to shutter in disgust. "i always thought jack was gay or maybe bi." daniel randomly says laying down on his back.

zach hums in agreement, recalling an incident back in 8th grade at jack's 15th birthday party.

"jack's gonna find out it was you," daniel sighs closing his eyes. "if he hasn't found out it was you already." daniel opens one eye looking over towards zach.

"but what if he doesn't?" zach cocks an eyebrow, sitting up.

daniel sits up on his elbows. "like how? i'm pretty sure jonah caught on it was you. you're fucked buddy." daniel pats his leg staring at him in mock sadness.

"ugh that's not what i'm saying," he groans kicking daniel. "what if i pretend to like jack?" zach says not fully thinking through his words.

"like how? he's straight." daniel
sits up, crossing his legs. zach's wide smirk made daniel's stomach twist.

"let's make a bet." he hold out his hand. daniel looks at it in confusion.

"which is?"

"i'll prove to you jack likes dick. i'll get him to fall for me." he smirks. daniel shakes his head at his friend, wondering exactly why he was friends with him.

"deal you have till spring formal." daniel says shaking his head.

zach's stomach twisted, what he just had done finally comes clear to him. and there's no way taking it back.

zach was screwed. jack wasn't into guys. he shakes his head. so he had nothing to worry about. right?
