the cold breeze of the midnight air hits jack's skin, making goosebumps arise. he shivers rubbing up and down his arms.
jack was sat outside, on his back porch, his phone his only source of light. he scrolls through instagram, sighing loudly to himself.
he lands on a picture of daniel and zach, obviously from daniel's account seeing as jack still had zach blocked.

jack groans turning his phone off, he makes his way inside, the chilly air starting to make him more colder than before.

daniel and zach were sat in the kitchen, zach stuck babysitting his little sister and brother while his parents went out to a diner with friends. to pass by time zach convinced daniel to come over, reese more excited to see daniel than her own brother.
"what's your next plan?" daniel questions, grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge. zach shrugs. "you don't have a back up one?" he huffs, rolling his eyes at his friend.
"i was hoping plan a would work so no." he groans sinking to his chair. ryan was sat in the living playing fortnite, and reese was sat in the dinning room coloring away in one of her many coloring books.
"you're lucky you have me," daniel sadly sighs making zach rolls his eyes. "i knew you wouldn't have a plan b so i made on." he smirks widely.
"which is?" zach questions.
daniel clears his throat. "you get him to break up with gabbie, and be there for him." daniel smirks evilly.
"they've broken up with 10 times i think jack's already immune to gabbie's bullshit.
daniel slams his head on the table. "get closer with him then."
"how?"
daniel throws a random object from the table at zach. "talk to him dumbass." daniel rolls his eyes.
"jonah's gonna kill me." zach mumbles mostly to himself
