Chapter Eight: My Place
Donny's P.O.V

"Don't look so surprised, you are my daddy after all." I mocked, referring to what I used to call him when I was five.
"'Daddy when I grow up I wanna be just like you.' I was such a stupid kid, but hey look how that turned out. Perfectly. Like you I don't give a damn about anyone but myself, but that's where I'm wrong."
I glanced over at Donny and smiled, "there's still one person I care about in this sick, fucked up world."
I slowly walked back over to Donny and grabbed his hand. I lead him over to his car, leaving a very angry man lying in the grass behind.

I smartly left the air conditioner on, so the car was already warmed up and ready to go.
"Babe what did you say to him? He looked super pissed when you walked over to me." I giggled, opening the passenger's side door for David.
"Let's just say you're not getting sued." He looked up at me and smiled, sitting into the seat and laughing. I put the seatbelt on for him and kissed his forehead.
"I love you." I whispered.
"I love you too." He said, his eyes crinkling at the side as he smiled wider.
I shut the door and walked around to the driver's side. After buckling up, I put the car into reverse and eased out of our spot.
Which reminds me.
"Hey babe?" I called, putting he car in drove once we got to the road connected to main street.
"Yeah?" He mumbled.
I glanced over at him and realized he was half asleep. He was rubbing his eyes like a puppy and he kept yawning.
He could be so adorable sometimes....oh who am I kidding? He's adorable all the time.
"Are you *yawn* going to keep staring at me *yawn* or say whatever you were going to say earlier?" He chastised, putting up a finger and moving my head so it was facing forward.
"Sorry, you're just so adorable when you're sleepy. I can't help but stare at a beautiful boy such as yourself." I teased.
I chuckled in satisfaction when a faint blush spread up his neck and onto his cheeks.
