Laila POV
A week later
I put my last bag in the car and faced a sad NJ.

"Laila don't do this please."

"NJ you have to learn. You have or had a family that you didn't even care about. You went to the club and let girls dance on you but you won't even sleep with your wife. I'm sick of it. You're too old to be acting like this. So enjoy your life. I hope it's great for you. I'll see you on Friday."

I shut my door and drove off to Katie's house. Nalani and Eli were already there.

My phone rung and it was NJ.

Convo
Nj- baby can we talk please
Me- let me drop off my stuff and I'll meet you somewhere
Nj- Alright

I hung up the phone and sighed. This was harder than I expected but I knew if I didn't do it then he wouldn't learn.

I pulled into the driveway and had Katie come and help me with our stuff. We unpacked the bags and boxes into my room and got everything settled. Nalani was sitting on the floor watching her brother while I got dressed to meet NJ.

"Katie I'm going to meet NJ somewhere he wanna talk. I'll take the kids with me if you want me too."

"You can leave Nalani. I was going to take her to the zoo."

"Alright."

I got Eli dressed before heading out of the door and into the car. I drove off to the restaurant we were supposed to be meeting at with Noel talking.

I pulled up to the restaurant and got Noel out. NJ spotted me and walked over to us.

"Hey baby."

"Hey NJ."

He grabbed Noel's car seat and asked for a table. We sat down and he put Noel next to him.

"Umm... so when you coming home?"

"When you learn how to be responsible."

"Baby. Please come home."

"No Nj. I just can't. I need time to myself. And I need to be away from you for a while. Just accept the fact that I'm leaving already NJ I'm just done with you at the moment."

"Wow. Ok. Well. I guess I'll move on then."

"I didn't say forever I said for now. Plus we're married."

"You're right. We are married, so we need to act like it. So I'll be more responsible and productive. Go out with the guys during the day once a week. Stop going to the clubs. I just don't wanna lose you."

"You're not just get you stuff together."

He nodded and finished ordering our food.
