Not the Story: I discuss my story.

This is not a real story chapter, only a place to talk about changes as I make them and things that bother me. Some changes I don't mention, some I've mentioned in comments and may copy to here.

     

I think of it like a mini blog to talk about my processes in reporting the story.

9/13: Someone's put this story in her reading list! Now I really DO have to finish it ;)

8/25: Chapter 7 half done. Heck, maybe I'll leave it as is :) So far, there aren't many clues about what's going on. There are the strange threads from space. There is the violence between different groups. There's conflict, but it's not clear to the reader yet. I intend to change that shortly.

8/23: Did an edit for grammar, spelling, & word choice. not too bad. Need to write more.

7/31: How many titles have I gone through? "Catgut" "Violin Strings" "Strings Attached" (I think I'm missing a few) and now "Arachne's Sin." Why not?

7/31: Great.. (not great) I forgot an entire section of the first chapter. It's spiffy too! Well, it's in there now.

7/29/2014 I did it! I found my ending, and it feels great. 

Both the Hollywood formula (link coming) and a seven point plot structure (link coming) helped me figure out where the story is going. Woohoo!
