Proluge

A grey she's at with grey ripples was sitting on a rock next to a red, blue and yellow coloured she-cat. "Many warriors died in the battle last night. Your healing couldn't save them. Why grayfeather?" Asked the red blue and yellow she-cat "I think my powers are getting weaker parrotstar. I think it's time for my apprentice to become the new medicine cat." Grayfeather answered. Parrotstar looked at grayfeather. "Are you sure?". Greyfeather nodded. " Then you may take leafpaw to the powerstone tomorrow night since it is a half moon. Grayfeather seemed to have a hint of sadness in her eyes but kept her head up. She knew this would be best for her clan. They can't have a medicine cat with weak powers. Just as this was happening leafpaw flew over to them with wide shocked eyes. "Grayfeather, Parrotstar! I had a prophecy." Grayfeather stayed calm. "What was it" she asked. Leafpaw shook his head to clear it "three kits will be born. They will hold the power to get us through the battle. But only with help" now grayfeather looked worried. "Why would there be a battle. All the clans are at peace" spoke grayfeather glancing at Parrotstar "its almost bare-leaf. Do you really think there will be peace then?" Meowed Parrotstar. Grayfeathershook her head. "We must start getting ready for anything. Now go get some sleep" mowed Parrotstar as she spread her wings and flew down into her den. Grayfeather and leafpaw soon did the same.

It was next morning. Oakpelt, floodstreams mate, came rushing into the medicine cat den "Leafpaw. Where is grayfeather?" He almost screeched. Leafpaw realised that there was something wrong. "Shes out collecting herbs. Why? What's happened?" Leafpaw mowed trying to sound calm
"Floodstream is kitting" screeched oakpelt. As soon as leafpaw heard these words he rushed to their supplies. There was nothing to help in those situation. "Why didn't we collect supplies yesterday" he whispered. Leafpaw then quickly ran over to the nursery.

"Three healthy kits, congratulations floodstream and oakpelt. Do you have names for them yet?" smiled leafpaw. "Yes berrykit" floodstream mowed while pointing to a cream colours kit with dark purple paws and wings "Icekit" she meowed pointing to a light blue kit with darker blue wings "and flashkit" meowed Oakpelt pointing two a light yellow kit with darker yellow wings and lightning bolt patterns on his sides. Then a thought hit leafpaw. 'Three kits. Are these the kits?' Leafpaw was worried but kept it out of his mind for now. They are just kits after all.
