Never Again

Faith saw movement coming from her eyelids, like she was just waking up. She also noticed her fingertips twitching.

"Mama! Papa! Look!" Faith yelled.

They turned their attention towards her and headed over to her quickly. "What is it?" Asuna asked.

"Her fingers and eyelids are moving!" She said pointing to her.

They looked closely at her and soon enough her eyes opened. Her gray eyes were visible again but she looked weak.

"Mommy? Daddy?" She asked weakly.

"Yui!" They all yelled happily. Kazuto carefully took her off the machine and deleted all the data that was transferred onto the machine.

Yui's head was in Asunas lap like Yuki was. "How are you feeling?" Kazuto asked.

"I feel really weak, I can't move my legs at all...."

Tears started to go down Asunas face. "You'll be okay, you'll be okay." She said with an unstable voice.

"Mommy, don't worry about me." Her eyes became blind as she spoke.

Asuna could tell her life span was getting shorter and shorter.

"Mommy?" Yui asked.

"Ya..." her voice hitched as she spoke.

"I.......love you guys....." she paused. "I thought that my life would be boring when I was in Aincrad but after I met all of you, my life changed."

Faith and Hime started to cry too.

"Daddy?" She asked.

"Ya Yui?" He said with tears forming in his eyes.

"I'm so glad that I got to go on so many adventures with you. I love you daddy!" Tears started to form in her eyes too.

"Of course Yui, I was happy every second of it." He sniffed.

"Hime? Faith?" She asked.

"Yes Yui?" Hime answered.

"I'm so glad I was your older sister, I remember all the great times together. Even when we went into the forest and found flowers but mom and dad got mad at us."

Himes eyes widened. "That was a long time ago but I remember that too!" More tears came out of their eyes.

Yui smiled and her eyes became more faded. "Mommy?" She asked calmly.

"Ya Yui?"

"W-Where did you go?" Yui asked.

Asuna picked up Yui and held her closely to her. "I'm right here, we're all right here." Asunas tears fell from her cheeks and landed on Yui's cheeks.

"Don't cry mommy, be happy for everyone else." Yui places her hand on Asunas cheek. "You have to say goodbye to the past, say goodbye to Old Aincrad, say goodbye to your worries, and say goodbye to....me."

"No Yui, you were the only thing that held all those memories together." Kazuto said.

She shook her head. "That's not true, you two were the reason why everyone is together. Without you two, the gang wouldn't be here. You two put hope into everything and everyone, just like in Old Aincrad."

Kazuto knew Yui was right, they gave everyone hope which made everyone fight to live. They even sacrificed themselves for everyone's well being.

Yui closed her eyes and opened them again, she saw all her family members surrounding her with smiles and tears. She remembered how happy her parents were when they met her even if it was just a day. The second time is easier than the first but it could be harder.

Asuna could tell she was happy even thought she wasn't smiling and her eyes were faded. They watched as Yui's eyes slowest started to close.

"Yui, we love you..... Forever and Always..... We will see you again but never again in this world.......and never again in Aincrad...... New or Old." Asuna said as they watched Yui's eyes closed forever but with a smile on her face.
