I glanced at you,

Watching you smile,

And stare back at me with that grin.

Though I don't know how to express it,

I liked the way you look at me.

I smiled inwardly.

The wind blow,

The water falls,

And life moves on.

I look around,

All I can hear and see

Are the memories of you here.

Though the time that you have spent here is small,

You left a deep impression in my heart.

That night I lost you,

I drank for the first time,

The bittersweet taste flowed down my throat,

And I couldn't help but reminisce about the past.

On the roof of that day,

You had already entrapped me.

"'It's Emperor's Smile! If I share a jar with you,

Can you pretend that you never saw me?'"

The sounds of your laughter fills my ears,

Like a soothing melody.

Your smile is enchanting, drawing me in.

The day you left, I had felt troubled,

The space besides me is now empty.

And that was how I thought it would remain.

But every encounter, every chance,

You wormed your way into my heart,

Consuming a large part of it.

I touch the mark on my chest,

It is my only reminder of you.

The sounds of 'inquiry',

Has failed to reach you.

Like a ghost, I go through this strife,

With only one aim, to find you.

Since you had stolen my heart,

Do you still expect me to be the same?

Wei WuXian,

Wei WuXian,

Wei WuXian,

I chant your name as if it's a charm.

But you do no reply.

Can the walls of Gusu quell the pain in my heart?

No matter how long I have to wait for you,

I will continue to do so.

The next time, I won't let go.

The next time, I won't let go
