Chapter 1

He clutched my hand and pulled me in for a kiss. I broke the kiss as tears began to flood out of my eyes. I look at him lying there in the hospital bed tubes going up his nose and wires attached to his body. He didn't deserve a life like this he deserved so much more...

                       11 years ago...

It was the last day of school for Christmas break and I had just reached the house where the new family moved the other day. I've only met one of the new family members and that was Ivan. Ivan had told me all about himself. How he has a crush on Katia, who's literally the most bitchy and mean girl at school and about his brother Emilio who he talked pretty much shit about. I then noticed someone standing at the window upstairs I thought it was Ivan so I waved, they looked at me confused it then hit me either Ivan's stupid or its his twin. I carried on waving anyway then headed home as the snowstorm began to get worse.

I arrived home and kicked off my snow boots to be greeted by Milly our black and white puppy we got as an early Christmas gift. I threw my bag on the floor and took of my winter jacket, hat, gloves and scarf then picked Milly up. She began barking as she licked my face. I then felt my phone vibrate in my trouser pocket. I put Milly down and grabbed my phone out of my pocket. I had a message from Ivan.
Ivan - Me and Emilio are coming to yours tomorrow at 11am.
Me - um, ok sure. Why?
Ivan - our parents are going out and we have to stay together and I don't want to be left alone with that idiot so we're coming over.
I found it rude that Ivan was inviting him and his brother over but I knew they didn't get along plus I felt sorry for Emilio so I didn't mind.
Me - ok. See you both tomorrow.
Ivan - bye.
Me - bye.
Me and Ivan weren't close or proper friends so we never really talked. We kind've just waved or talked when we was bored. I was more excited for tomorrow than mine and Ivan's friendship. Ivan's told me so much about Emilio that I'm so excited to meet him. I wonder if Emilio's like what Ivan said he's like?
