It all passed by so fast. I ran, and ran, and ran. She was fighting the little girl. But why? Was a suicide mission? My thoughts ran wild as I got closer to the tower. I felt a bit drowsy for a moment, but it all cleared when I thought of her. She makes me feel complete. She makes me feel like I actually matter and she makes me feel things that I can't even put in words. I can't lose her.
No.
Not Today.
I started to finally see the tower in my sight. I ran faster and faster, refusing to stop and catch my breath. Every step I took felt like my heart pounding. Inching closer and closer to the tower, I extend my hand towards the door, and it opened with a huge bang.
"Y/N!??" I yelled as loud as I could, as I saw her laying on the floor with marks on her body.
"Here, I got you.." I mumbled as I grabbed her by my arms and looked at her bruised up face. I smiled at her for finally seeing her again. I then put her down in the corner of the room and looked angrily at the little girl.
"Here comes the little narcissist." She says blandly and laughs.
I growl. I take out my sword and hit her with all my might. He slashes and slashes doing more damage than Y/N did to her before, but not enough. Liz was also here. She slashed, unfortunately doing less damage than me. I then pull back my sword and huff. This is getting really tiring.
"Don't you get it?" She laughs maniacally.
"You're being really pathetic. You think you're the hero, and you can save everyone yourself. But that's not how the world works." She levitates around and grabs a sword from her back pocket.
She stares at him, with her deep black eyes. She kind of looks like a doll from this viewpoint. She tilts her head and stares right into his soul like a piercing bullet. Kirito then looks down. This whole time he thought he could save everybody but all Y/N was trying to do was help and do it together. He didn't know that before.
He then smiles and finally knows what to do. He turns around to Y/N.
"Take care of yourself, Goober."
He breathes out before slashing the girl and everything turns white.
