the gang walked into the school, sneaking past a group of teachers and into the auditorium. daniel walks behind the curtain and up the stairs, following his own directions. he opens up the hatch and walks in, plugging in the multi colored fairy lights.
"is that it?" zach asks, pointing to a bump in the blanket. daniel walks over and lifts up the blanket, seeing the wooden floor is messed up. "nope." corbyn sighs, running his hand through his hair. "wait." daniel says, holding his hand up. "the floor was never like this." he says, grabbing a ruler mia left behind from studying and stuck it in the cut wooden, popping it open.
below it was a envelope. "found it." he says, picking the letter up and holding it up. a bright red 4 facing the friend group.
