the vintage diner
this is the place. the place where I first felt something with michael harris. yes, we dated, too.
michael was part of a crowd that couldn't stand me. and when he first started talking to me I was 99% sure it was a joke. that 1% made me fall for him.
mike, you first asked me out a day after talking. I of course denied because I had plans with my parents To go to a family reunion. you laughed and said I was playing hard to get. maybe I was. maybe I wasn't. I won't ever fully know how I felt that day.
my birthday party was two weeks later at the diner. you showed up to it. none of my "friends" showed up. it was all family. but you did. you showed up and I didn't even invite you.
that was when I realized I loved you michael.
