She sat in class observing everyone, she already understood what was going on in the lesson so she didn't have to pay attention, her eyes settled on Blake. He was sitting there flirting with the girl next to him, it didn't bother Adelyn at all. She just simply thought it was inappropriate for school or maybe it was because she wanted someone in her life to compliment her on how she looked or on how personality fitted her so well.

"Adelyn Rose, come to the front office" Both Adelyn and Blake looked up, the boy looked over at her, she seemed relieved at a point. She gathered her things before slipping out of her seat elegantly, the class went quiet. Blake hated how she moved so perfectly like every move was a work of art.

Adelyn knew exactly why she was being sent to the office, they always made her go, she hated missing her classes but it's not like she had a choice. She made her exit, what upset her was when she left the classroom, voices exploded from the room.

She sighed before continuing her walk towards the front office, her shoes squeaking against the freshly cleaned tiles, the corridor was empty of students, it was calming.

When she reached the office, even the ladies that worked there went quiet, it was only because Adelyn was different than other students, she made people fear her without trying.

Adelyn had a fear that her eyes would roll out of her head, since she rolled them at people so much but the thought never stopped her from doing it, she reached the councilor office, she couldn't understand why'd they send her to him every once in a while, like she would say her first words in years to this guy.

She knocked on the door, his footsteps echoed around the room until the door was pulled open softly, David wasn't the best looking man but Adelyn didn't care or think about his appearance as she entered the room taking a seat at the usual chair, ready for another silent encounter with the man.

"Adelyn glad you came, we haven't talked in a while" Adelyn resisted to scoff at the man, she never did say a word to him so the word "talked" made no sense.

But she nodded before leaning back in the chair, all that happened here was he asked if anything was happening at home or anything that could help her with whats going on but she shook her head then she would get up and leave. But something was different in the air.

"Adelyn, look we have been at this counseling thing for a while so the school kindly recommended that I refer you to a psychologist" Adelyn sat up quickly, straighten back with her eyes wide. She couldn't go to some tosser that thought they knew what they were talking about. no one knew what she was going through, not even Adelyn knew.

She shook her head before gathering her belongings and rushing out of the office, David called out her name many times but she kept moving towards the double doors leading into a corridor of full of students, she needed some space but everywhere she looked there were people looking at her and pointing.

She closed her eyes, slowing down her breathing and when she felt semi-okay she opened her eyes but her eyes lied to her, there was no one in the halls, she looked left and right before walking back to her classroom, she felt like she was going insane, she just wished she had someone to talk to but no one wanted to hear her voice, he made her believe that.

Blake saw the girl sitting outside reading a book, he had never actually spoken to the girl except for by the lockers, he was debating with himself whether he should keep talking to her by the locker or actually try and become friends with her.

Finally, he decided, he looked left and right for his bandmates not seeing them in sight, he made his way over towards the girl. She never really had anyone actually walk up to her before so she was surprised when she saw him standing there waiting for her attention.

"Hey, mind if I sit" her eyes continue to bore into his, he obviously took that as a yes as he took a seat next to the girl. The girl's brain was muddled up as the boy sat there on his phone, why come over and say nothing.

She continued to look at the boy, taking her full attention off the book and towards the boy. She awkwardly cleared her throat, causing the boy to look up from his phone to see the girl already looking at him.

"So you still don't talk" He smirked at the girl, she shrugged her shoulders leaning back onto the bench and turned her eyes away from him, looking around accidentally locking eyes with a few students, they immediately pack their things quickly running off. Blake watched the whole thing before turning back to the girl, to see her indulged in the book sitting on her lap.

Blake didn't know Adelyn personally but he wanted to, he could make out small details though, he could tell that she did hate how people feared her, he couldn't understand it either. But he almost jumped out of his shoes when the girl looked up and opened her mouth to speak before shaking her head, closing her book.

She knew this was some dare that he was told to do, she was shocked that she went to talk to the boy out of everyone the boy that irritated her the most, she packed her things standing up which he followed the action, standing up with her, his face full of shock.

She pushed past him, leaving him behind. Reece and George were watching from afar confused why he was over near the girl, people took the two blondes for granted, they were really sweet guys they just haven't found the one yet. Adelyn knew that they were lovely people but she never got to put her input in.

Somehow while Adelyn was walking something changed in the girl, she had barely interacted with the boy but she went to speak, she had no idea what she was going to say but she knew that words almost left her mouth for the first time in years, suddenly her walls were higher, she didn't want anyone breaking them down, she had been building them for so long and she couldn't have someone like Blake Richardson to be the one to break them. especially him.
