Adelyn normally wasn't one for violence, but when she saw his face behind her brother's punches she suddenly didn't mind it. She had never felt so calm about something, she almost wanted to jump in herself but she knew her brother wouldn't allow.

"Kyle that's enough" Blake spoke calmly to the boy on the ground, Kyle was seeing red. This was the guy that stopped all the communication between him and his sister, so he kept going that was until two arms latch around him and pull him away from the unconscious boy on the floor.

"If ever see you again Daniel Shore, you're dead" Reece and George grab Daniel, dragging him out of the house, letting Kyle storm off as Blake and Adelyn stood in the hall not sure of what to do next, Blake wanted to tell her right there but there was something stopping him.

But what he didn't know was Adelyn wanted to speak up and tell him how she felt but she was hoping he would speak, both of them wanting the other to speak up but when neither of them does, they both turn on their heels going different ways. Reece watched it all go down from the front door, he hated seeing them fall apart, he didn't know Adelyn that well but she was an easy girl to understand at times. But Blake understood her in a way no one could or would ever, and that's what made Reece believe that the two deserved one another.

Reece ran after the boy, quickly stopping him in his steps. Adelyn hearing the ruckus turning around only to see Reece and Blake, she looked at Blake one final time that night before turning away and continuing to walk to the room, she finally felt safe. She could be herself again, she quickly walked into her bathroom that was connected to her bedroom, she went straight in front of the mirror, she always thought the look in the mirror made someone insecure but she always thought she was good enough for this world, why would someone make her ugly.

She stopped and turned around when she saw Kyle leaning on her door frame, he wasn't sure if she was going to talk but who did know, not even Adelyn knew if she was actually ever going to talk but of course everyone hoped she would.

"Look I understand if you don't want to talk again, but as much as I want you to talk to me first before anyone, I see the way you look at him and how he looks at you at first It annoyed me because I didn't want him to hurt you but now I think you love him so if you do talk go to him first Ade" Kyle smiled at the girl before tapping her shoulder before leaving the girl there in pure shock, she did not like Blake Richardson hell she would know, except she knew the answer, she just didn't want to admit it. She didn't want to admit that Blake Richardson had won her heart by 3 months of knowing the girl, it was rarely enough time but somehow she fell in love with him.

Adelyn quickly left the small room, unsure of what her next actions were. She decided to wait until later. Her eyes landed on a blue box sticking out from under her bed, she sighed knowing exactly what was inside yet she still grabbed the box, sitting on the end of her bed, tears brimming her eyes as a quiet sob left her lips.

She untied the ribbon that was a light blue, color coordinating with the box. but she didn't think of that right now as she separated the lid from the tin. Seeing a mass amount of photos and a small box.

Adelyn started off with the photos, at first there were photos of her and Kyle laughing and talking together then it was her parents. She missed them so much, she hated Daniel for being the reason for her parent's death but he was gone now. She had nothing to worry about, but then she opened the small box, it held a ring. Adelyn remembered the ring as to be the one her mother wore all the time.

She never knew why her mother never took off the ring but she didn't and Adelyn didn't question it, Adelyn couldn't take this pain she was feeling so she stuffs everything back in, shutting quickly shoving it back under the bed. Tears streamed down her eyes as she let out sobs, suddenly a knock echoes through her room, causing her to jump and quickly wipe her eyes dry.

Soon the door opens slowly, a mop of brunette hair sticks there head in. Blake frowns when he sees the girls tears. He quickly entered the room, moving towards the girl. She slumped into his arms, he sat on her bed holding her in his arms as he breathed in her scent, laying a kiss on her head. She closed her eyes with a smile.

"Adelyn, I need to tell you something" She pulled her away from the boy, looking at him curious on what she was going to be told. He took a deep breath, was he ready? was she ready? He took her hands in his. She was frightened, what words were going to leave his lips. Suddenly a bang was heard from downstairs, causing Adelyn to get up quickly. Running downstairs, Blake groaned kicking the bed in annoyance before chasing after the girl.

Adelyn scoffed when she saw Reece and George fighting in the middle of the living room, She glared at the two both of them seeing her. They quickly got up, racing out of the house. Waiting for their best friend, Kyle had gone to sleep after talking to the girl. Blake began to walk out, this was his last effort to get the girl but there was no use anymore.

"Wait" A feminine voice echoed through the air, causing Blake to freeze. He spun around to see the girl, he wondered if he was hearing things.

"don't leave" she whispered, he watched her lips move. He couldn't breathe, his heart stopping. Her voice music to his ears, how could she be so perfect. He nodded his head, walking closer to the girl, placing his hand on the side of her face, chuckling.

"I like you a lot Rose" She chuckled before smiling back up at the boy, he was eager for her voice to flow through the air towards his ears.

"I like you a lot too Richardson" she giggled, he smirked at her before closing the gap between the two, pressing his lips softly against hers, never in a million years did he think the girl that he annoyed twenty-four seven would be the girl he fell in love with.
