Chapter 46 - Oracion Seis Returns!

"They....are back..."

Everyone's eyes widened.

"Who came back?", I asked with a little bit of fear in my voice.

Master looked down and looked at us with serious eyes.

"Oracion Seis..."

Everyone gasped.

"They want revenge for what happened before. They.....are coming for us.."

"How did you hear about them?", Lucy asked.

Erza closed her eyes, "The atmosphere.."

Everyone looked at her with surprise.

"It was from sensing the atmosphere, right?"

Master nodded, "Yes. If anyone runs into one of the members, please contact your comrades immediately. The battle will start from that sighting."

We all nodded.

"All right. Keep your eyes out and be careful."

I turned around and walked out the door. Gray noticed me and once I left, he looked away with guilt.

HOURS LATER...

Since there was nothing to do in my apartment, I went to the park to breath in some fresh air. While I was relaxing, I remembered what I said to Natsu and Gray earlier.

"How did you think we felt watching you fight each other like this?! Have you ever thought of that?! We're use to you fighting sometimes, but what happened just now, is far enough! You should've been able to control yourselves....so I couldn't sacrifice myself. You knew that you never wanted this to happen right?"

"Take this as a warning, Natsu. Gray. Next time, if you hurt anyone in this room on purpose, then....I'll make sure that I will do something."

I looked down, "I think I said a little too much that time. I hope they're not mad at me though. *sigh*"

I looked up at the sky and started to admire how it looked.

Suddenly, I sensed something unpleasant.

I looked to side, "Who's there?"

The person came out of the bushes and revealed himself. He came up and stood in front of me. He had black shaggy hair with white hair on the bottom. Also, he had red eyes and black lips.

"Who are you? What's your name?", I asked.

"Midnight. I am from Oracion Seis," he replied.

My eyes widened with surprise, "Oracion Seis....what are you doing here?"

"You are Melanie Ayame, am I correct?"

I stood up, "How do you know my name?"

"Your name is plastered on all the newspapers and magazines. You are an S-Class Wizard of Fairy Tail and you deeated Zeref. I came here because I want to invie you to our guild."

"What?!"

"You are a very powerful wizard. You will be the perfect addition to our guild."

"I'm sorry but I have to decline your offer."

"Hm?"

"You.....you and your guild is after my guild. You came for revenge. You just wanted to invite me, so Fairy Tail will not stand a chance against you."

Midnight reacted with surprise, he didn't know that I would figure out his plan.

"I'm sorry...but I'm not the type of person who would give themselves up for that reason. I'm already happy in my guild. If it's a battle that will happen, then it will be a battle we will have."

He smirked, "Nicely said. I must say you have more courage and bravery than I thought...so..."

He placed his hand against the tree, placing my back against the tree uncomfortably, and he leaned his face close to mine and gave me an evil look in his eye.

"...fine then. Since you declined my offer, a battle is what will happen."

He removed his hand and walked away. "If you accepted my offer, then I would have left Fairy Tail alone. Such a shame..."

I clenched my fists and looked at him with confidence, "We will not lose to you!"

He stopped walking.

"Fairy Tail is stronger than you think!"

He smirked and continued to walk away, "Hmph...whatever you say..."

He disappeared.

I continued to look at where he left with serious eyes. "We will most certainly NOT lose!"

THE NEXT DAY...

"Good morning everyone! Did anyone see any members from Oracion Seis yesterday?", Master asked.

People around the room said no. I looked at Master and said, "I did!"

Everyone reacted with surprise.

"His name was Midnight."

"Midnight?", Lucy asked.

"Midnight! He's one of the strongest out of Oracion Seis,"  Erza added.

"I was in the park when he came. He asked me if I wanted to transfer to his guild."

"W-What do you say?", Natsu asked.

"Of course...I said no," I said without looking at Natsu. Natsu looked at me with surprise and looked down. He knew that I was still upset about him and Gray.

"Now it's official. We have a battle in our hands."

Master nodded in agreement and sighed, "The Council created an alliance for us again."

"Really?", Lucy asked.

"What is the alliance?", Gray asked.

"Fairy Tail, Blue Pegasus, and Lamia Scale. Natsu, Happy, Lucy, Gray, Erza, Wendy, Carla, Laxus, Aurelie, and Melanie. You will represent us."

Aurelie reacted with surprise once she realized that Laxus was joining them. She looked at him and Laxus noticed her. She immediately looked away as he got confused, shrugged his shoulders, and looked back at Master.

"Now then...the Council told us to meet up with the other guilds at a place in Floria Forest, the place where we held the S-Class Advancement Exam. You will meet tomorrow in the afternoon. I'm counting on you everyone. Make sure you come back to Fairy Tail with no sad faces. We want to see you happy so we know that you won. We believe in you. You can do it because you are a Fairy Tail wizard!"

Master smiled and raised his hand, pointing his index finger and his thumb, showing Fairy Tail's gesture.

Everyone cheered.

"We are not going to lose to Oracion Seis. WE ARE NOT."

Midnight stands on the edge of the cliff and looks at Magnolia with his hair blowing in the wind.

He smirks and walks away with his hands in his pockets.
