Felix's Mother's POV

I had a tiring day at work...

I decided to go home now and take a long rest because of those paperworks.

As I arrived home, I park my car on front of the house and go on front of the doorstep and go inside the house.

I went inside the house and throw my bag into the couch as I sit down beside it.

I let out a sigh as I call my husband.

"Dongsoo..." I called him but no answer.

"Dongsoo? Are you there?" I asked but still no answer.

"Hmm...maybe he's overtiming again..." I said to myself when I remembered my son.

"Felix..." I mumbled.

"Do we still have a chance to be close again as a family?" I asked.

I decided to stand up and go to Felix's room so I can say sorry to him about ignoring and everything.

I shouldn't marry that freak...

He destroyed my relationship with my son.

-Flashback-

"I want you to marry me..." Dongsoo said to me.

"But I made a promise with my son that I won't marry anyone again...I'm married to his father" I said refusing.

"Oh really? Are you gonna let your son die?" He said to me as he pulls out a gun and I got terrified.

"Don't do anything to my son..." I said to him.

"Of course, I won't do anything if you just signed these contract that you'll marry me..." He said pointing at the contract.

"And everything will be normal..." He added.

"Unless you want to put you and your son's life in danger..." He said letting out a chuckle in the end.

"I'll sign it..." I said as I grabbed the pen and sign the contract quickly.

"See? It's so easy..." He said to me as he puts the gun back in his back pocket.

"Now that you and your ex-husband agreed that I will be the next owner of this company and laboratory. I think my problem is now done..." He added.

"You talked to my husband before?" I asked him curiously.

"Yes, and I threatened him that I will hurt you and your son if he didn't give me his position as the owner of the company and laboratory. I always wanted to be He said as he walks towards the door.

"And I'm sorry about his death..." He trailed off.

"But he deserved it..." He added and left.

"HOW DARE YOU, HE TRUSTED YOU AS HIS OWN BEST FRIEND-" I shouted at him but he's already gone taking the contract with him.

I knocked on Felix's door.

"Felix, please open the door. I need to talk to you..." I said but no answer.

"Felix?" I asked but still no answer.

"Felix? Open the door..." I said to him.

I asked him to open the door many times until I decided to open the door myself.

"Felix?" I said as I didn't see him inside his room.

"Felix?" I said but no answer.

Why is he not here?

I decided to bring out my phone and call him but he's not answering it.

He must put his phone on silent.

I started to get worried about Felix.

What if something bad happens to him?

I'll regret it for life...

I decided to go to the police station and find Felix.

Felix's Stepfather's POV

It's been an hour passed so I walk up to my assistant and ask him.

"Did you already inject the patient with the chemical I gave you?" I asked him.

"No sir, I didn't inject the patient because I'm busy with what we're working on but I asked one of the employees to inject the patient instead" He said to me as I nodded.

We went upstairs to the room where my patient is.

I put my thumb on the scanner as the door automatically opens and see that the patient is gone.

"What the hell?!" I shouted.

I turned around to look at my assistant as I grab his collar.

"WHERE IS THE PATIENT?!" I yelled at him.

"I-I don't know sir..." He said, terrified.

I let go of his collar as I went straight to the CCTV room and look at the monitor to see an enployee and my patient running away at the hallway.

"Chase them..." I commanded my guards and they nodded as they go and chase them.
