Chapter 28

I really want this marriage to work. I really think Brandon is going to be good for me. He opens my eyes up. He helps me do new things I thought I would never try. Also, he treats me like I am his only person he needs. Like I am his princess. Even if I am already being one. But he treats me special.

Today is a big day. Today is the ball. We had guest showing up this whole week. People were staying at the palace for the ball. We don't mind. My parents love it when the palace is full of guests. It feels more life in it.

We then headed to the front to greet our friends and their family members. When we got there, we saw ships landing. Our friends and their families were here. They were staying here until the ball. This is going to be nice. Not even a second, I then was in middle of a group hug from my friends. I then heard snickering from Brandon. But he should know he probably would be next.

"Welcome everyone. We are so happy to have you here." I said.

"You guys know we will never miss out on a ball. Now how would we look if we did." Stella commented.

I just shocked my head and snickered. Brandon and I then went to saw them to their rooms. I told the girls they can hang out after they got settled in. I know the Brandon and the guys were going to hanging out with after they settle in. So, that one moment will be the last together alone until we retire for the night.

I was in mine and Brandon's room getting ready with the girls. Brandon was with the guys getting ready. It was nice having them here with me. It was like we were in school still. The balls and dances at Alfea and Red Fountain.

"This like old times. When we were at school." Musa said.

"Yeah. Good times." I said.

"So, tonight is the night you take over the throne. You ready?" Bloom asked me.

"Yeah, I am ready. I think Brandon is too." I told them.

*Brandon's POV*

I was in Sky's room with the rest of the guys. We were all getting ready here because the girls want to get ready together. I thought that was sweet. Them becoming close like this. I am happy she is getting along great with my friends and family.

"So, man tonight it all changes. You ready?" Riven asked me.

"I know. My whole life is going change and I think I am ready for it." I told them.

"That is a great way to go into this." Sky told me.

"Thanks Sky. Any advice?" I asked him.

"Just fellow your gut and heart. You are not alone ever. You got this Brandon." Sky told me.

It was time to meet up with girls before Stella and I enter the ball. I was waiting in front of the doors with her parents. Then here comes the most beautiful women I every have seen. Stella come over to us with a smile on her face.

"You look amazing." I told her.

"Thank you. You look very handsome." She said.

"So, your mother and I will be going in first. They will announce us and then you and Brandon will enter next." Her father told us.

"Understand father." Stella said.

Then her parents went throw the doors to greet the guests. I stood there with Stella waiting. I looked over to her and gave her a smile. She then asked me,

"You ready?"

"Yes, I am." I told her.

We then went throw the door and everyone was standing there looking at us. I took her and smiled. Then a servant announced,

"Princess Stella and Sir Brandon."
