*Jade’s POV*
Lunch was annoying since I was forced to sit with Ethan and his sister Lucy, though she wasn’t that bad. I just don’t get how she can be so cheery all the time, especially when she’s stuck having a brother like Ethan.
Anyways, right now, I was currently walking to the girl’s bathroom when I heard someone walking behind me and turned around to see no one there. I raised an eyebrow, ‘Huh, I must be imagining things’ I thought and continued walking to the bathroom.
A few seconds later the sound of footsteps behind me continued and I once again turned around only to see no one there. “Hello?! Is anyone there?” I yelled only to get no response. I rolled my eyes and continued walking to the bathroom, faster this time.
I don’t know if someone’s messing with me but they better fuck off because I’m not in the mood to deal with their bullshit. I was about to enter the bathroom when I felt someone wrap their arm around my waist and put their other hand over my mouth.
I began struggling and squirming, hoping that I could get myself out of the person’s grasp but the person was obviously stronger than me since I failed. The person brought me into the closest empty room and locked the door before pinning me against the wall.
I immediately noticed that it was one of the guys on the football team. What the hell? What would he want from me? “Hey cutie, wanna fuck?” He asked grinning then began kissing my neck before I could even answer him.
I glared and kicked him in the balls, “Hell. Fucking. No.” I said then unlocked the door and ran out but apparently I wasn’t fast enough since he was able to grab my wrist and pull me back. “I thought I told you no” I said angrily and pulled my hand out of his grasp but he just grabbed me again.
“Yeah well you don’t get to call the shots here” He said then whistled and two other guys on the team appeared. “This one is being resistant. Hold her down while I have my way with her” He said and the guys nodded and grabbed my arms and legs.
I tried to get out of their grasp but of course I couldn’t escape. “Let me go this instant, asshole!” I yelled angrily but the jock ended up kissing me then covered my mouth and made his way down to my neck. He was about to grope me when…
*Ethan’s POV*
“Though the school isn’t as big and pretty as I hoped it would be, I still like it so far” I heard my sister say though I wasn’t really paying attention. It’s already been fifteen minutes since Jade went to use the bathroom and she still hasn’t come back, I was really starting to worry about her.
“Ethan? Are you even listening to me?” I heard my sister say as I came back to my senses. “Oh, sorry Lucy; I’m just a little worried about Jade, that’s all. I know she said she was going to use the bathroom but she’s taking longer than I expected” I said.
“Well if you’re so worried then maybe you should check up on her to make sure she’s okay” Lucy said smiling. “You’re right, I should” I said then grabbed my bag and stood up. “I’ll see you later” I said and walked out of the cafeteria. I heard her say she was just kidding but I just kept on walking.
I was walking through the halls when I realized that I don’t even know where the bathrooms are since I’m new here. “Guess I’ll just have to roam the halls and hope I don’t get lost” I thought and began making random turns.
I was about to give up when I heard the sound of an angry girl screaming. “Wait, I’ve heard that voice before. It has to be Jade” I thought then began running in the direction that the scream came from. I soon saw Jade being held down by two guys and being kissed on his neck by another guy.
I glared at the guys then made my way towards them, making sure to be quiet so they wouldn’t hear me. I went behind the guy that was kissing her neck and patted his shoulder. The guy turned and looked at me and I immediately punched him in the face, causing his nose to turn in an unnatural way.
*Jade's POV*
I opened my eyes when I heard the sound of someone’s face being punched and was surprised to see Ethan here. I realized that he was the one that punched the jock in the face since there was blood coming out of the jock’s nose.
The other two jocks tried to swing at Ethan but he just grabbed their arms and twisted them then kicked them, making them fall to the floor. At the same time though, the jock that was kissing my neck got up and was about to punch him from behind when I yelled, “Ethan, look out!”
Not that he needed it though because as I was yelling that he was already ducking. He grabbed the jock from behind and flipped him over, making his back hit the floor hard. Then he pressed something on their arms that knocked them all out.
I just watched him the whole time in awe and surprise. Ethan then turned to look at me, “Is the lovely lady alright?” He asked softly. I couldn't help but blush slightly and be at a loss of words, "Y-yeah" I barely managed to say. "Well they won't be for a while" He said smiling.
I looked at the guys laying on the floor unconscious. "How did you do all of that? The fighting and making them unconscious I mean" I asked. "I took karate for ten years so I'm a black belt. That move I used to make them unconscious is one of the things I was taught" He said.
"That's cool. Anyways...thanks" I said, back to my cold demeanor. Just then the bell rang, signaling the end of lunch. "No prob, now let's get to class before we get caught here" He said. I nodded and we began walking to class together. Maybe he's not so bad after all...
