***Continuation of the night before***

When me and Duncan were walking to the bonfire it was kinda quiet between us. I couldn't stop thinking about what just happened and what I just saw. Duncan, the tough guy I met in Juvi, the guy I started crushing on from when I first talked to him on the island, tried to kiss me.

Then the moment he does I start thinking about, Al?! This doesn't make sense. I haven't seen him since, well,when I got thrown in Juvi while I was in Mexico. That was almost five years ago and I have moved around a lot since then.

I felt Duncan nudge me. "...Paige?" I must have gotten lost in my thoughts. "Yeah?" I answered not turning to look at him.

"Did you hear anything I just said?" He's been talking to me and I've been sitting here like a dumbass staring off into space.

"Oh shit sorry no, I was uh, thinking I guess and kinda blanked out."

"It's alright it wasn't that important anyway." He said in a sort of upset tone.

"No tell me what's up?" I said. "No all I said was, do you think that maybe what happened tonight you could not tell anyone about because it, i-it was kinda, ya know..." He said rubbing the back of his neck.

"Embarrassing, maybe even, awkward?" I interrupted. "Yeah." He said nervously.

I looked at him, "I won't say anything if you don't want me to. Keeping secrets is the only thing I'm good at. I mean, Duncan, it's me. I also hope that you know you can talk to me about anything, I'm here for you. Whether it be complain or even..." He cut me off.

"You talk to much. Yes or no would be sufficent." He said. I punched his arm. "Well, you know me. Always got shit to say."

"Always." I laughed at his remark.

When we got to the campfire the Killer Bass were there. I took a spot next to DJ, and Duncan sat next to me. Courtney and Bridgette walked to the bonfire with Sadie who was still in tears. I didn't realize it before but, I think she had a piece of the dock her hands. Bridgette sat with Sadie and tried to comfort her.

"It was a long goodbye." Bridgette said. Damn does this chick cry a lot. It's not like Katie got sent off for execution.

"What do you guys want? Come here to rub it in?" Courtney asked. I turned to look behind me and the Gophers were standing there.

"We have some extra dessert after our Tuck Shop party...thought you might want some." Trent said.

"So what? You're just being 'nice'?" Courtney asked.

"Okay Owen stank up our cabin and we need some time to air out." Gwen admitted as Owen farted again. "Ew! Dude!" Trent said holding his nose. Beth walked up to Courtney with a plate of green jelly and offered her some. "No! I mean, no, thanks. I'm good." Courtney said.

"What are you on a diet or something?" Duncan asked. "No! I just don't like green jelly, okay?" Beth waked up to me, Duncan and DJ and offered us some. "SNAKE!" DJ said flipping the plate out of Beth's hands.

"Chill, dude. It's just a gummy worm." Cody said picking it up.

"Sorry for tripping. Snakes just freak me out." Tyler put his hand on DJ's shoulder. "I feel you chickens give me the creeps dude."

"Did you just say chickens?" I asked sort of laughing. Who is afraid of chickens?

"Wow, that's-that's really lame man." Duncan said.

"So then everyone starts to have this sharing-fest by the campfire." I said taking out my lighter and lighting leaves. "Beth went on about how her mortal fear is being covered in bugs. Harold's afraid of ninjas apparently. The best one is Heather admitted to being afraid of sumo wrestlers! Ha, this was too much. LeShawana is afraid of spiders, wimp. Gwen was afraid of being buried alive which I can COMPLETELY understand, I would be too."
