"Welcome home, my dear." Barbara said while helping Samira out of the car.
"Thank you, mother." She said, yawning.
"You are going straight to bed and no work until you are completely fine." Barbara said and Samira sighed without protest.
There was no getting out of this and she knew it. After all, she had insisted that the doctors discharge her. She made an excuse that she would feel a lot better in company of familiar surroundings and her family, when in fact; she feared Eros would return to find her. She did not want another confrontation with him as she did not want to think how the next one would end.
Tamera burst out of the front door, with open arms and wrapped Samira in them. "I have missed you so much." She said.
"It was just three hours ago you last saw her. Stop exaggerating please." Barbara said and Tamera pouted.
They moved inside the house and Samira quickly glanced around, trying to find her father. She heard from her mother that he was not happy about how the unveiling of the new beverage turned out. The CEO was not present to make a speech, neither was the publicist -to speak to the press after the unveiling.
Samira knew without a doubt that their father would not be too happy about it. He had wanted everything to be perfect, and it was ruined because of her. She knew what would come when he sees her. So therefore, she would try to avoid him.
"What are you looking at my dear?" Barbara noticed how she was frantically scanning the living room and dining area as they walked.
"I don't see dad." She said.
"Oh, he left for the company early this morning." Tamera replied. "You should have seen his face. It was so red, I thought it would explode and spill red all over the house."
"Tamera!" Barbara snapped. "It's your father you are talking about."
"A father who is more worried about the image of his company than his daughter's health." She shot back and then ran up the staircase.
Barbara helped Samira to her room, tucked her in and left. As she laid in bed with her eyelids growing heavy, her mind drifted back to the one person she could not get out of her head: Eros.
He had looked very ravishing in the black tuxedo and new haircut. She never knew his body could rock a three-piece suit until last night. Gosh, she missed him. She missed him so bad that it hurt. What hurt even more was seeing him and not being able to touch him, kiss him or feel him around her.
Sighing, Samira turned onto her side and closed her eyes, picturing him all over again.

"She was discharged this morning?" Eros gasped and the nurse nodded. After whispering apologies, she walked away and left him standing alone in the corridor.
He turned and walked out of the hospital, moving straight to his car. After getting in, he slammed the door and gripped the steering wheel. Damn it! He cursed and let out a long deep breath.
She was gone! Gone from the hospital and he did not know where she lived. He left his house every early with hopes of seeing her and hence getting the chance to speak to her. However, he arrived a little too late. She was already discharged.
Eros pulled out of the hospital and drove to the Alvaro Beverage Company. He figured she would not be at work today because she might want to rest. Anyway, he was not there in hopes of seeing her but to ask for her home address.
He went to the reception desk and asked the woman sitting behind it. She refused to give it him, but instead booked an appointment for him. Now thanks to little that appointment, he knew when she would be back in the office and could not wait for Thursday.
