“Why did you attack him?” Samira asked Eros while squeezing lukewarm water out of the towel. She did not wait for his answer and pressed the towel, forcefully against his slip lips, making him whine. “Oh, shut up.” She snapped, eyeing him.
“My love, I didn’t…” He barely started explaining himself, when yet again, she pressed the towel against his lips making him whine loudly and gripping the stool.
“Can’t I see another man?” She asked, anger evident in her eyes. “So you mean you’ll attack any man you see me standing with, even if he’s my brother?” She glanced towards Vulcan, who got an icepack pressed up against his swelling jaw, leaning against the bathroom door.
“Samira, I…”
“I don’t want to hear it!” She snapped at Eros, rising from the stool and causing the bowl that contained the lukewarm water and disinfectant to shake from her sudden movement. “I shouldn’t be cleaning you up.” She threw the towel at him and stormed out leaving him alone with Vulcan.
Eros sat, stunned, eyes glued to the exit. What have I done? He asked himself, cursing under his breath. He let out a long sigh and threw his head backwards, cursing himself for messing up.
Why had he let his anger get the better of him? Why had he not stopped himself and just remained in his car? Darn it! He messed up, yes, but she should also understand him. She probably would have done same, if she were in his shoes.
Waiting anxiously all day for your loves call and not getting one, was the worse feeling ever. Last night, he went crazy, asking himself if he did something to anger her. He drove to the Alvaro Beverage Company, looking for her and that was when he leant about her trip to London. He came all the way here, looking for her and found her in the arms of another man.
In his defense, it was very normal for a jealous boyfriend to act the way he did. Yes, he had been jealous, seeing how much she was squeezing him. That was why he got the idea that she was cheating. However, now, he knew he should not have doubted her. She was upset with him for thinking that she was cheating and to top things off, the man was her brother.
The clearing of a throat brought him out of his trance and that was when he recalled that someone was in there with him. He glanced at Vulcan and quickly apologized. “I am sorry for hitting you, man. I thought…” he rubbed his nape, head hanging low, not really knowing what to say.
“I understand.” Vulcan said while moving into the bathroom. He placed the icepack on the sink and glanced at his reflection in the mirror, examining his face. “But you sure have a hard punch.” He added, turning his face from left to right, to which they both chuckled. “I am Vulcan.”
“Eros,” he said, getting up from the stool with the towel falling off his shoulder from where Samira threw it and landing on the floor. “Excuse me.”
Eros entered the bedroom and saw Samira zipping up her bags. He moved to her and she ignored him, moving about him to the balcony. He followed her there. “Samira, please listen to me.” He said and she faced him crossing her arms, frowning.
“What do you have to say for yourself?” She asked, avoiding his gaze.
“I am sorry. I should not have attacked your brother.” He said.
“That is a pathetic excuse and you know it.” She snapped. “You attacked him because you thought I was seeing him, isn’t it?” His head hung low. She hit the nail right on the head. He did think that. “I can’t believe you’ll ever think that I will cheat on you!”
“It’s not like that Samira…”
“Did you or did you not think of that?” She asked.
“Yes, I did.” He admitted and she shook her head, disappointment written all over her face.
