The next couple of days were stressful for Samira. She was in a dilemma, as she did not know what to do with the information about Vulcan. She had thought of telling her mother and sister countless times, but could not because of the promise she made to her brother. In addition, there was so much work at the office that she did not have a peace of mind for days.
The telephone on the desk started to ring all of a sudden, drawing her out of her thoughts and making her aware that she was at the office. Sighing, she reached for it. After pressing down on the answer button, she asked her personal secretary. “Yes, Drew. What is the matter?”
“A gentleman is here to see you.” Drew replied.
“Who is it?” She asked, while glancing at her wrist, at the watch clasped around it. It was almost closing time. Who, the hell was coming to see her now? She thought to herself and then reclined in her chair, rubbing her weary eyes.
“I am sorry. He refused to give a name.” He replied to which she grunted. He? “I am sorry madam. I could not stop him. He is already on his way. He should be arriving soon.”
As soon as the words reached her ears, someone was knocking on her door. “Thanks Drew.” She said before returning the phone to the receiver and then replied to the knock. “Enter.” Whoever it was, she hoped he or she had an important reason for showing up late without an appointment and refusing to give his name to her secretary. Else, she would make him regret for showing his face in her company.
Samira’s jaw dropped to the floor, when the door opened and a big bouquet of pink roses greeted her. The flowers were covering the face of the man who got it for her. Pushing the chair backwards, she stood up - a smile spreading across her face. It was not a challenge guessing who it was, because she knew that brawny body like the back of her hand.
She rounded the desk at the same time he lowered the flowers to reveal his gorgeous face. A grin tugged at the corner of his lips, while his eyes twinkled with excitement. Samira froze for a moment to take in his appearance and appreciate his presence, as she had not seen him since the morning they rode to his place. He was in a grey suit, which outlined his features, making prominent his bulging muscles. His hair was styled in his usual fashion and he looked drop-dead gorgeous as the first time she was him in a suit. Damn, she did not know whether he looked sexier in his farmer clothing or in a two-piece suit.
“So?” He drawled, getting her attention. “Did it work?” She quickly took the bouquet from him, placed it on the desk and threw her arms around his neck. His arms went around her waist and he pressed her to him. Suddenly his musky woodsy smell, which she loved and missed so much, gulfed her. She pushed her face further into his chest and spoke to it.
“I have missed you so much.”
A deep chuckle rumbled from his throat and vibrated into her core, sending shock waves down her spine. “It has only been three days.” He said, kissing the top of her head. “But I have also missed you so much.” Pulling away, his lips found hers. Samira sighed; relieved that finally after so long, although it has just been three days, she finally tasted his sweet lips again. Her fingers got into his hair tugging and pulling him closer. She did not want any space between them. All she wanted was to feel him pressed against her. She wanted to assure herself that he was there with her, that she had him. She wanted him, needed him. Pulling away, she said in between gasps.
“Eros, take me.”
He gazed into her face, a little shocked by her request. “Here? Now?”
“Yes,” she started to unbutton his jacket.
