Alison walked from the warmth of the cabin and into the misty sea air that hung on the deck of theEliza. She watched as one of the sailors handed a coat, and a sword to Alex. She looked out to the sea and saw what everyone was buzzing about. It was a ship with a mermaid masthead, and it was flying white sails with no crest. Everyone was prepared for a possible battle. Alexander turned to her. "Maybe you should go back inside." which was the very last thing she was going to do. She crossed her arms and blinked her eyes at him. He just sighed and turned back to the ship. From the mystery ship were coming two life boats. They were being rowed by eight men each, all looking a bit mucky. In the one closest to the Eliza there was an additional passenger. He wore the attire of a captain, all navy blue,and white, and red, and gold but still a bit mucky. As they grew closer and closer one of the sailors threw down a rope ladder for them. Alison did not recognize this sailor and was wondering why he had just invited these strange men aboard unauthorized.
“Oi! you there! Why'd you do that!” Alex asked alarmingly disgruntled. All the men on board drew there sword in unison as the strange men boarded the ship. The man who Alison assumed was the unwanted mens captain spoke. “Who among you is in charge?” his voice was scratchy and quite menacing. His face was all scratched and wrinkled and his hair was greying underneath his hat. Alex replied “I am. Who are you? What's your business here?”
“ I am captain Stark. Captain of the Scream. We heard that a lord and lady were to set sail on our seas and we just had to see what all the fuss was about. One of you is worth something, and sadly one of you are not. Which one of you is the noble born in question?” Alison could see Alexander thinking hard. And then to her shock he said “ This is the lady of Coventry, daughter of the Duke of Coventry, and i am her manservant husband.” Alison didn't understand, but Alexander gave her a look that told her to keep her mouth shut so she did. The Captain began to approach her but every soldiers swords pointed at him. He spoke “Alas that is all I need to know.” And then things got out of control.

The sailor who had thrown the ladder down for the unwanted guest drew his sword and sliced one of Alexander’s men in the gut. Some how a man from the mystery ship had gotten aboard the Eliza. During the whole conversation between Alexander and the captain of the other ship no one had noticed that more men from that ship had been approaching them. Alison, and everyone else on deck knew immediately, pirates.They all jumped on deck and engaged in battle with the sailors of the Eliza. The captain yelled “Get the girl!” Alison tried to run but a man, very dirty and not wearing a shirt had grabbed her. Pinning her arms down to her sides, and putting a blade at her throat. He walked her to the front of the ship so everyone could see. The pirate holding Ali hostage yelled “Drop your blades or she dies!” The crew of the Eliza kept fighting on until Alexander, with a disgustingly frighten look on his face shouted “Stop! Everybody stop!” The crew obeyed. “What is it that you want!? We have money! We have jewels! Its all yours! Just let her go!” Captain Stark walked towards Alex with a smirk. “That’s all good and well. But i'm sure that the little lady’s papa would pay six times what you have here for the safety of his daughter.” He turned to his crew. “Boys! Bring me the girl !Loot the ship!” And with an evil grin he said “Then kill them all!”
The pirate restraining Alison took the blade from her throat and started to move. The rest of his comrades sprung into battle yet again with the sailors of the Eliza. Alison tried her hardest to fight against the filthy pirates bare grip but he was too strong. He took her over to captain Stark and stopped with her in front of him. He grabbed Alison by her cheeks, smushing them together. “You’re a pretty one you are.” “Aye she is.” said the pirate who was holding her he put his nose in Alisons hair and started to grope her. she struggled her hardest to get out of his grip “Let me go!” she yelled angrily. Captain Stark slapped the pirated upside his head. “There will be no violatin’ the lady. We might not get paid if we take her innocence. Put her in the boat.” With a yes sir the pirate began trying to get Alison overboard into the lifeboat that the captain came in. She started screaming “Let me go! Let me go!” She got loose and kicked the pirate in his manhood, but the captain just caught her. She saw Alexander’s face in the middle of the battle that still raged on. There was blood and sweat on his face in a horrendous mixture. He locked eyes with her and made way for her, slicing down man after man. But one of the pirates caught him by surprise and slashed him in the chest. a scream escaped her throat “Alex! No!” And that was the last thing she saw before she was forced into the lifeboat.
