I talk to her in the Hall
"Hey, what's your name?"
She looks at me with dead eyes
Like I'm playing some game.
I want to get to know her
But she clearly doesn't feel the same.
So she walks out of science
Leaving me without her name.
I already know her name
That's a fact we both know
I want to hear her voice
Is it high, medium, or low?
If I want to write fifty poems
Our bind needs to grow
So if she could just talk to me
I'd be happier than she'd know
