I ask to walk her home
After school today
You know, be a good friend
And by her side I'd stay
But she said no
I couldn't walk her home
I tried to protest
But she already left, alone
I sigh and shove my hands
Inside the pockets of my jeans
If she wants to walk alone, fine
It's her choice by all means
But I won't lie
I wanted to walk her home.
