I don't own any of this apart from the part of Clem

"Clem, time to get up. It's the Bass brunch today," Mom says as she opens the curtains, "do you know where Nate is, he didn't come home last night."

"I don't know, leave me alone," I complain sleepily.

"Clem, do not speak to your mother like that," Dad says from the doorway, "do you have any idea where Nate might be."

"I don't know, maybe with Chuck," I suggest.

They leave me alone to get ready for Brunch and I quickly text Nate.

Mom and Dad are freaking out about where you are and they keep hassling me, call them now or even better come home!

I get dressed and I travel to the brunch in a limo, with Mom and Dad, Nate still hasn't texted me back. We arrive and I walk in and see Nate. He greets Mom and Dad and then they go to speak to Lily.

"You couldn't even spare two minutes to send a text," I say annoyed.

Nates tears his gaze from the doorway, "what?"

"Mom and Dad were totally freaking out and they kept asking me if I knew where you were. I texted you, the least you could have done is texted Mom and Dad so that they would stop harassing me," I complain.

"Clem, stop acting like a little self-righteous brat, you know you aren't as perfect as you might believe," Nate says and then he walks to our table and takes his seat.

Tears start to form in my eyes but I shake them away and follow him to the table. Maybe I was being a bit bratty. I take my seat and everyone raises their glasses.

Suddenly, everyone at the table was looking towards the doorway. I look to see what has everyone's attention and as I look I see Serena with a guy standing next to her.

"You've gotta be kidding me," Blair laughs.

"This should be fun," Chuck comments.

I look towards Blair and she is shooting murderous looks towards Serena.

The couple walk towards the food table and Nate stands up and leaves the table.

"Who's he?" I ask.

"Daniel Humphrey," Chuck says venomously.

I decide not to ask.

After I've eaten Dad introduces me to several different people, boasting to each one about my grades and extracurricular activities. Finally, I see my chance to escape and I seize it. I see Blair and Dan talking and Nate and Serena rushing towards them. I decided to see what is happening so I walk up to the group.

"You were what," Blair says.

"And here I thought you were waiting for me," Chuck says as he joins the group swiftly after me.

"Oh, exactly what this situation needs. Chuck," Dan says sarcastically, "now what is going on here."

"We were just getting to that," Blair says.

Serena pleads for Blair to stop and I just stay quiet and observe the situation.

"Did you wanna tell him?" Blair asks Serena.

"I'll tell him," Chuck says.

"You know?" Blair and Nate say simultaneously.

"I know everything," Chuck says.

  "Chuck stop," I say.

"And apparently I know nothing," Dan adds.

"Do you know," Blair asks shocked as she turns to face me.

"Well...I...erm," I stammer.

"You told her," Blair exclaims turning to Nate.

"Can somebody please tell me what's going on," Dan says clearly annoyed.

"Look, Dan, it was a long time ago, and I regret it," Serena starts.

Chuck starts to taunt Serena, "so you slept with your best friend's boyfriend. I kind of admire you for it."

Serena starts to tear up.

"Is that true?" Dan asks.

"Then she ran away, and lied about it," Blair adds and then she continues to torment Dan and Serena.

Then Chuck does what he does best and makes the situation ten times worse and then Dan pushes him into a waiter. Kati and Is start to take pictures and Dan storms out.

"Hope you're happy," Nate says to Blair.

"Not even close," Blair says and then she shoots me a look.

"Blair..." I start but she just walks off.

Then Nate walks off and I start to follow him.

"Nate wait," I say.

He turns around and I back away a little.

"I told you that in confidence. Blair wasn't supposed to find out that I'd told you," Nate scolds.

"I'm sorry," I say.

"Yeah well she's probably not gonna trust me again, so thank you for that," Nate says sarcastically.

"Excuse me, it's not my fault that you slept with her best friend and then lied about it. So stop blaming me because this whole situation is entirely on you," I shout and I walk away.
