I don't own any of this apart from the part of Clem.

"Hurry up Clem, we're gonna be late," Nate shouts up the stairs.

I hurry down the stairs, shoving stuff into my bag.

"Come on, I have better stuff to do than wait for you," Nate complains impatiently.

I mutter a sorry, grab a croissant, say goodbye to my parents and run out the door after Nate. We arrive at the met steps and I run up to meet Blair and her minions.

"You're late," Blair says.

"Yeah Nate slept in and he wanted me to wait for him, sorry," I lie.

"Whatever, this is Jenny," she says looking towards a blonde freshman.

"Hi, I'm Clem," I introduce myself.

"I know, hi," she says.

Just then Serena comes up the steps eating a yoghurt and I can tell something is about to go down. I watch as Serena is told she can't come to the kiss on the lips party and Jenny is dismissed.

"Well, we should get going, then. Unless you want us to wait for you. Looks like you got a lot of yoghurt left," B says.

"No, go ahead," Serena says.

B and S then make plans to meet up later and we head off into school.

After school, I go home and Mom has bought me a dress for the Kiss on the Lips party.

"Thanks, mom," I say as I start to make my way to my bedroom.

"Erm, just one more thing, I don't want you travelling to the party with Nate and his friends," Mom stresses, "You can get a taxi."

"But mom. They're my friends too. Why can't I go with them?" I whine.

"Because they are older than you and I don't want them having a negative influence on you, especially Chuck," she explains.

I guess I understand but I am still annoyed. I go up to my room and slam my door. Mum shouts a goodbye up the stairs as she's going to meet up with one of her friends and then I hear the door shut. Nate's out with Blair and Dad's out at work so I have the house to myself. I practise my contemporary dance piece that I will be performing in a competition soon. I blast my music so loud that I don't hear Nate come in until he turns my music off.

"What did you do that for?" I ask annoyed.

"It was way too loud, I could hear it from outside," Nate says irately as he slumps on the sofa.

"What's going on with you, you've been moody with me for days now?" I enquire.

"Blair and I broke up," Nate replies.

I sigh and then sit on the sofa opposite him.

"I cheated on her, with Serena," Nate states bluntly.

"Oh, you idiot," I respond, "one of Blair's biggest insecurities is thinking she will never be as good as Serena and you just took away the one thing she thought she had that Serena didn't."

Nate ponders that as I storm out of the room. I quickly turn and stick my head back into the room.

"And now she probably hates me too," I shout exasperatedly.

I then storm up the stairs and flop on my bed.

"Urgghhh!" I scream into my pillow.

I sigh and turn onto my back. I pull out my phone and text Blair.

Hey B, it's me, just wondering if you wanted to see my dress for the party tomorrow? I can come over in the morning if you want? xx

I thought I'd better test the waters before I saw her tomorrow at the party and she had a go at me in front of everyone we know. I then change out of my sports clothes and join my family for dinner. Mum and Dad talk about work stuff the whole time so I zone out and think about tomorrow, occasionally shooting Nate a death stare. After dinner, I check my phone but I haven't heard back from Blair. So she's either ignoring me or hasn't got my text yet, I sincerely hope it's the second one. I quickly change into pyjamas and I fall asleep while watching my favourite film.

I get up the next day and I quickly change out of my pyjamas. Then I go downstairs mum tells me Nate and Dad have gone out running. We eat breakfast in silence and then suddenly Nate and Dad burst through the door. Nate goes straight up the stairs and Dad comes through into the dining room and shoots a look at my mum. I take that as my cue to leave and I walk up the stairs and through to Nate's room.

"What happened with Dad?" I ask.

"Nothing," Nate snaps while throwing his shoes angrily at the wall, "urgh."

"Calm down," I say, "what happened?"

"I can't break up with Blair because it might ruin Dad's business deal with Eleanor if I do," Nate explains.

I sigh and sit down on his bed. He sits next to me and then lies down on his back and looks at the ceiling.

"What am I meant to do?" he asks.

"Do you love her," I ask.

"I think so," Nate answers.

"Well, what you should do is work things out with her, and then stay with her, at least until Dad's deal is finished, and in that time work out whether you love her and want to be with her," I say.

"I've got to go sort this out," Nate says and he walks out of the room.

I spend the next couple of hours watching Netflix and then I start getting ready for the kiss on the lips party. I'm still not sure how Blair is going to react to seeing me. After I finished getting ready, I get a taxi to the party. I arrive and I slip inside. I see Blair and she walks straight up to me. I hold my breath. My heart is beating. I can feel my purse slipping out of my sweaty hands.

"Clem!" Blair says as she embraces me in a hug.

Guess she and Nate are back together then.

"Blair!" I exclaim.

"Come over here, we have the cutest canapes," Blair says as she grabs my hand and guides me to the food.

Suddenly my phone rings, I get it out and find out, from Gossip Girl, that Serena is here.

"What is she doing here? She wasn't invited." Blair exclaims.

She walks up to Nate and they have a heated discussion and then he walks off. I feel like it's maybe time for me to leave. I call a cab and then I find Nate to tell him I'm leaving. He looks really upset and I think he's had too much to drink but he doesn't want to come home with me so I can't force him.

When I arrive home Mother and Father are sitting, drinking, in the sitting room.

"Where's Nate?" Mother asks.

"Erm...still at the party I think," I answer.

"He should be home by now," Mother scoffs.

"Well it's not my fault," I defend as I march up the stairs to my room.
