"It's Griffin. And we're married." Ty told the woman, causing her to roll her eyes at him.
"Congratulations." She gave a sarcastic remark.
Lauren stared her down before running a hand through her hair obviously frustrated and still in disbelief that this was happening.
"What is your problem, Lucy? Seriously, please tell me how do you manage to still be the bitter bitch that you are almost five years later. My life has been amazing yet here you are trying to fuck with me again. Don't you have a life?" She snapped. Ty ran a hand on her arm to calm her a bit. He looked around to make sure there weren't any bystanders to witness what was currently happening. The last thing he wanted was for someone to see this go down.
"Nice to see you too, Lauren. That's not how you speak to someone you haven't seen in so long." She told her, still smirking. She was enjoying this.
"You're insane." Lauren spat, her eyes narrowed at her now.
"What exactly is it that you're talking about? Enlighten me." She asked, tilting her head.
"Look, I don't know you like that, but I know a lot about your character. What you're doing is immature and selfish if you ask me. You need to let that shit go." Ty spoke up.
"Yeah, don't act like you don't know. These are kids, Lucy. Why are you doing this? Do something to me all you want, but you will not take that out on my child." She told her, trying to keep her composure.
"You know...it's not my fault your kid is a sensitive little shit. Just like his mother. No wonder it was so easy for me to take advantage of you for so many years, Lauren. Luca doesn't need any friends like that, he'll be strong like me while Ryan is nothing but a weak cry baby." She boldly stated, making Ty's eyes widen at how fucked up she sounded.
Lauren on the other hand saw nothing but red and before Ty could hold her back, she lunged at the other woman. Her hand delivered a harsh slap right across her face while the other grabbed at her throat. Ty immediately jumped in between the two women before Lucy could touch Lauren.
"Woah, Lauren! Let her go." Ty gasped as he held onto her, but her grip somehow found it's way entangled in Lucy's hair. This was already not going how he expected it to.
"Don't you ever speak about my kid like that again! You hear me?!" Lauren shouted, now in Ty's grasp, finally releasing her hold on the other woman.
"So you have the guts to actually hit me? You better remember that, Lauren." Lucy let out a laugh as she left the two of them standing there and got in her car and sped off.
"Get in the car." Ty told her, obviously pissed at what happened.
Lauren let out a huff and got inside, slamming her door shut. She buried her hands in her hair as she let out a few breaths to control how angry she was.
"What the hell was that? I told you to just talk." Ty sighed as he started the car up.
Lauren looked at him, taken aback by his tone. He was mad at her?
"You heard what she said. Don't sit here and make me the bad guy." She narrowed her eyes at him.
"It's not about making you the bad guy, you didn't have to put your hands on her." He told her.
"Oh please, someone needed to! If you're just gonna sit here and take sides then do not talk to me. You're not gonna tell me how to defend my child. And I really don't need you to act like you're my father right now." She pointed her finger at him even more upset.
"We actually have shit to lose, Lauren. Don't you ever think? This gets out to the press and we have to deal with it, not her. I thought you'd be smarter than that." He shook his head.
