Chap.9

Nauti's POV

Two months have passed, and though she's finished her transformation, Kehlani still has yet to awaken.

Everyday I've made it my mission to mind link with her. Talking too her and trying to get her to wake up.

Tomorrow marks three months that Kehlani has been in a sleep like trance.

It pains me to see her this way but I have faith in my little princess. I know she's going to wake up.

I just know it.

Day and night I've been by her side. Making sure she's getting her daily nutrients.

Even if it is through a feeding tube.

Giving her sponge baths. And tending to her in any way I possibly can.

Arm's folded, headed laying on top of  them. I fell asleep at the foot of the bed again.

As I dream of the day I hired Kehlani, I thought of how excited she was after getting the job.

She beamed with glee and squealed with joy uncontrollably. Seeing how happy she was,  was one of the best feelings in the world.

Around 3am I awake to use the bathroom.

Finishing my business i head back too my usual spot and assume my regular position. Slowly drifting off into my thoughts, I fall back asleep.

Suddenly I felt a small hand lightly shaking me.

Pushing back my thoughts,  I just knew my mind was playing tricks on me.

I just knew it was!

But the shaking didn't stop. In fact it slightly increased.

Coming to my scenes, I finally convinced myself that I was no longer dreaming. And that someone was in fact shaking me.

Slowly lifting my head, I froze in utter disbelief. It was as though all the air had involuntarily escaped my lungs.

Gasping for air, I struggled to find my breath.

Ke-Keh-Kehlani yo-you're awake!

Yes, I am!

God, I've missed you!

Standing, Nauti quickly crawled onto the bed, and pulled her into a tight warm hug.

H-how long was I out.

When we found you, you where already unconscious. From there, you've been in a coma for 3 months to this day.

But we're not sure how long you where in a coma before we found you in your former apartment.

Former, what do you mean.

We paid your rent up.  You no loner reside there.

Where will I stay, I have absolutely nowhere else to go.

Yes you do, you can live here with us.

No I can't, I don't want to be a burden.

You're not, I can assure you that.

Kehlani, there's something we need to discuss.

Ok, what is it?

You'll have to Waite until Devlyn arrives.

Just as he finished that sentence, it was as if on cue. Devlyn emerged out of thin air.

Dev's POV

What the hell! Wwh ho-how did you do that?

That's what we wanted to talk to you about.

We are hybrids. Nauti spoke up.

What's a hybrid?

Well it's a combination of two supernatural creatures. In our case we are both werewolf and vampire.

As a loud harmonious burst of laughter erupts from Lani's chest, both Nauti and I stare in confusion.

No seriously what did you want to talk about.

Kehlani, princess we're serous.

Ok, since you don't believe us we're going to show you.

Slowly the twins backed away from the bed. With shaky hands, their body began to transform.

Within seconds two werewolves appeared in front of her.

Astonished, Kehlani was left completely awe struck. Sitting on the edge of the bed with her mouth ajar. Kehlani couldn't find a single thing to say.

Standing 11ft tall and towering over his mate, Nauti has a white coat of fur with yellow glowing eyes.

Devlyn was slightly smaller. Standing at 10'7 in his wolf form. His eyes also glowed yellow.

As Nauti and Devlyn approached the bed Nauti sniffed her neck. Climbing onto the bed Nauti nuzzled into the hem of Kehlani's neck.

Rubbing his fur she leaned into him and relaxed.

Devlyn jumped onto the bed and laid across her lap using her free hand, she rubbed and scratched his belly.

You guys are so beautiful. Though I never believed werewolves and vampires existed.

As she leaned more into Nauti,  he began licking her face.

Slowly the twins shifted back into their human forms.

So you aren't afraid of us.

No, Devlyn after everything I've been through I don't have the strength to fear anything.

About that, we have something else to tell you. We had to turn you.

What do you mean, you had to turn me Nauti?

Before we found you, we couldn't sense you anywhere. It was as if you dropped off the face of the earth completely.

Then out of nowhere we sensed your presence. So we followed it. And it led us to your apartment.

Once there we found you, near death you were.  And we had to be quick on our feet. We had to turn you into a hybrid in order for you to survive.

Ok!

Ok?

Yeah, I mean I'm not happy that you guys did it without my consent, but you did what you had to do to save me.

Princess you are taking this way better than we expected.

Yeah, we assumed you'd be mad and leave.

No, I can't be mad at you for saving my life. I'm blessed to be alive right now.  Thank you.

Approaching the bed once more, Devlyn kneeled behind Kehlani. As Nauti stood in front of her.

Kehlani what happened to you,  Nauti asked?

Kehlani's eye's began to swell with tears. Silently she sobbed as the memories flooded her thoughts one by one.

Looking at one another, Nauti and Devlyn mind linked.

Any means nessaceary, Devlyn asked, agreed?

Agreed!

Shaking their heads in agreement, they needed to know what happened so they could fix it.

Grabbing a fist full of Lani's hair with his right hand, Devlyn wrapped his left arm around her waist
