The Unexpected Bump - WynHaught Au

prologue

Wynonnas POV-

I sit on the cold floor of the bathroom as I always did when it came to this moment. Please whoever's up there just give me a chance, let me be pregnant. I looked at the pregnancy test and look at the symbol, negative.
"Dammit!" I snap and throw the test across the room and cover my face with my hands .  That's the 7th failed pregnancy test, was there something wrong with me? All me and doc wanted was a baby and it didn't seem to work. Like something was stopping us. Isn't spending my life fighting revenants enough to give me what I want? No of course it wasn't. I am the Earp heir. I am the biggest fear that demons have, of course they're gonna curse me with not being able to give birth.

"Wynonna" I heard docs voice from the other side of the door and I just quickly wiped my eyes and stood up as he came in. He looked at me and frowned a little. "Another negative?" He spoke knowingly but still full of sadness. I had one last plan. One last idea that might just work. It was crazy and stupid but it was a plan. I nodded a little and he just sighed, wrapping his arms around me and holding me close. "Don't worry, I'm sure it will work next time"  he spoke in his gruff slightly drunk voice. Yes it Will. Because I'm going to make it work. There's just someone I have to go see. The iron witch.

As I walked across the snowy ground I kept reminding myself how stupid this idea was. Going to a witch. But I had to try. She was my last hope. I got to the log cabin and knocked on the door heavily. "Hello?" I called out and the door swung open, a raven haired slim woman stood there and glared at me.

"What do you want Earp" she growled. I controlled my temper and tried to keep my voice calm. 

"Your help" this caught her attention. She opened her door fully so I could see what was behind her, she had various blacksmith tools around the room and parts of metal.

"With what exactly?" She scoffed.

"You have magic, I know you can make me fertile. So please...I've tried 7 times and all failed" I sounded desperate now but I didn't care. I had to get her to get this to work. She stood there just in silence for a moment and then nodded.

"Come inside" she said mumbling slightly , I head straight in, nerves catching up to me. She shut the door and turned back to me , crossing her arms. "So you want me to give you the power to get pregnant...I can do that" she nodded a little and a small smile grew on my face but then dropped a bit, I knew there was always a price to pay. I just didn't know what hers would be.

"Ok so what must I give in return? Kill a certain revenant? Chop off my finger? What's happening here" I got straight to the point and she seemed deep in thought.

"Let me look into your future, see how the baby will turn out" she sounded serious but I was very confused. At this point I didn't care though.

"Sure whatever" I shrugged a little. She walked up to me and placed her fingers on my temple and closed her eyes.

"Yes....yes I see...oh...interesting that was not what I was expecting at all...that's quite magnificent" she pulled away and I rose my brow.

"Will the child be born? Is it ok?" I asked slightly worried.

"I can't tell you anything but it was quite different to how I pictured" she said and she didn't seem to want to expand on that since she walked off to start picking up bottles.

"Will you give me the ability to have a kid or am I wasting my time here? What must I give in return?" I replied in a slightly harsh tone.

Her attention was brought back to me, that same wide smile as she walked over and handed me a bottle of red liquid.

" Take this, drink it and then whoever you sleep with next you will have the child with." she placed the small bottle in my hand and I eyed it slightly suspiciously.
