Out of nowhere a Goblin came into existence. It caught many by surprise with as he showed off his powerful aura. He being felt as strong as a hobgoblin yet he was merely a goblin. This didn't make sense to anyone there except for one in particular. He was a respectable goblin that was almost at the end of his life. He taught and watched over the generation of goblins that came and went. He also tried to remain active with the ladies.

He realized this could only mean one thing. The goddess of all monsters had listened to his prayer and sent him someone to defend the cave from the humans that were coming. So with a smile he went up to the man without a hint of doubt and fear.

As I looked at the old goblin walking up to me with a large smile. No fear, no anger was found in his face, I found only recognition. Deciding to trust him for now since I didn't feel any killing intent I slightly lowered my head to show respect to him. Seeing my appearance and actions he smiled visibly for all the goblins to see. Even the two hobgoblins in the back noticed the likely importance of the goblin.

"Hello elder Goblin I have been sent to help you people for the next week before another shall take my place." Smiling the man started speaking "No I thank you my True Chosen Friend for coming to our rescue." "No its a pleasure to help, but I need to tell you I can not do this alone. I need the rest of the goblins to be willing to work so I can create some of the defenses needed for this mission.

I am not here to change the local culture, nor am I here to bring about a great change. That will be the one you work with in the future. Smiling the old Goblin agreed easily to everything the man said, after all the monster in front of him was going to make sure they were all safe. He didn't want to accidentally offend him.

With that he led Naruto over to a small corner of the cave and sectioned it off using a stone to make a chalk like color on both the floor and so far up on the walls with that he turned around to leave. As I thought over my strength and what needed to be done I compared the level of some of the goblins to myself.

Almost all of them were around 12 points on average with a luck averaging around 2. He noticed one goblin who was bullied had a luck of negative 1. From past experience, negative numbers usually meant the death of the owner if they were normal within a few days.

With all of the information there he turned to the two hobgoblins in the back. both had base stats of 50 to 70.  the larger guy had more stats in his 70's. That was when a question slugged me in the face, at point blank. Did my chakra even work in this new body. With that thought in mind I tried to summon my chakra but all I did was look like I was in pain. Realizing it wouldn't work I went back to my thoughts. That meant that my chakra boosted strength and speed skills wouldn't be useful here.

"Hello Goblin Rou, I couldn't help but wonder how I knew, It seems you are the current leader here correct." As the man looked at me I noticed a twinkle in his eyes that appeared when he heard how I talked to him. He also started to lick his lips weirdly enough, but that was another story. " That's correct are you here to question how I run things as well," he asked with what seemed a bit of hope as well as annoyance. I didn't know how he pulled that off, but he did.

"Yeah I don't want to really lead for that long. I was sent here to help these little goblins here for you. The comment came out without me realizing it. Somehow I knew the man before me was the person who would take charge within a weeks time fully. Likely he didn't have the strength needed yet to face the force and I was sent to help him." That drew in the mans attention a bit more. What did this men want with him then, and further more why was he bothering him when he just wanted to eat more creatures for now. As I noticed his face I realized he might need a bit of enticement to co-operate. I also could tell he needed more of a reason to care about what happened in this cave.

"I want to set up some traps here in the forest for any threats coming soon as well as the animals around here. I was wondering if you could help set some up." When the man appeared to be moderately interested, he wondered why he hadn't set up any yet. After all he could increase how fast he was getting stronger with that. However he did that. Maybe I needed somewhere to calm down and think about where this knowledge is coming from.

"Host is using &*()^ Skill. Become a higher level to learn more host."

"Also If you do help me I will give you ten of my Undead necklaces." When the man heard that he could only think of one thing. I wonder what it tastes like. With that I led the man to start our wonderful hunting session. Maybe the hunger for new things was causing the man's IQ to drop enough to trust me. Or maybe it had to deal with that skill of mine.

After around 8 hours we had dug a grand total of 43 Pit falls making a Semi-Circle around the cave. After looking back at the time for the quest I noticed something weird.

Time:6 days left.

That meant only one thing. Time was sped up back home. And that meant I lost a lot of training time while here. In fact I lost a two thirds of the amount of time I would be here. I could only imagine the effort I would need to put in when I get back. Maybe I could find a few special skills belonging to this world I could take back with me.
