Once upon a time, there was a young british boy with wonderous Cadet-Blue Eyes, and a younger scottish girl with bright Sea-Green Eyes. In pictures, the girl would be gazing up at the boy, full of innocence and childish love. The boy would be beaming straight ahead, light and curiosity surrounding his head. Back then, that's how it always was.

Once upon a time, there was a too-tall-for-his-age boy with smart Cadet-Blue Eyes, and a too-short-for-her-time girl with wide Sea-Green Eyes. In pictures they would both be wearing their school uniforms, the pig-tailed girl resting her head on the messy-headed boy's shoulder, a sleepy smile on her face, and the boy would be looking over her head at something else, a small grin on his. Back then, that's how it always was.

Once upon a time, there was a scruffy, disorganized boy with wise Cadet-Blue Eyes, and a bright-purple haired rebel girl with soft Sea-Green Eyes. In pictures, her gaze would be fixated on him, her misty green eyes lost in his mysterious blue ones in a swirl of bright smiles and unsaid love. The boy would have his arm slung around her shoulder, a toothy smile opened in a bright laugh, and his other arm gently placed on another, stranger girl's waist, whose eyes saw every part of his body except his face. Back then, that's how it was. That's how it seemed.

Once upon a time, there was a tired, red-haired, too-short-for-her-time girl with broken Sea-Green Eyes. In pictures, she would always be standing alone, her once bright eyes now dully reflecting an old lost memory of two tricky Cadet-Blue Eyes turning away without a thought, and never turning back. Now, that's how is always is.

Now, how that is about to change.
