chapter 3- Love story
Shane's P.O.V.
After I left her house I suddenly saw the light. I, Shane Andrew Newman,
Realized how great of a girl she was . She knew All about me, suddenly that crush I had on her was returning. Back in the seventh grade I had a tiny crush on her. Why do you think I started talking to her? Then all that faded away when I saw Rachel, my first huge crush. Then after that there was Katelynn and now it's Elle. well it was Elle. past tense.
I head over to her house and I knock on the door.
she's still in her White I <3 nerds t-shirt and dark wash skinny jeans. only she had on blue socks because she had taken off her converse.I just stood there in her doorway. her wavy light brown hair was hung over her shoulders and her side swept bangs out of her light brown eyes. "Hi" she said. "Hey." I said calmly.
We then walked into her living room and sat down on the sofa.
The guitar was still leaning on the edge of the sofa. "what's up?" She said calmly, though hurt in the tone of her voice. "nothin' ". "cool." . Then I finally got the courage to tell her what was on my mind. "okay, I came here for a reason." "and what would that reason be?" " to talk to you."
"about?" "Everything."
Leighlani's P.O.V.
"Everything" Shane said as he was sitting in my living room.
I was kinda shocked but amused at the same time. I looked him straight in the eyes and I knew he meant serious business. "look-" he started "as I was walking down the street, and sitting alone in my room, and talking to Elle and everything. There was only two things I could think about. and that was that song you wrote and You." " psh, yeah sure. why? you don't like me like that. and I've been told that very loud and clear by your actions." "Leighlani.." I suddenly felt tears sting in my eyes and I attempted to fight them back.. unsucessfully of course. I felt a few traitors roll down my cheeks. When shane Says my full first name.. I know he's serious.
