Chapter 5- Fearless

Leigh's P.O.V.

After that kiss a new spark set off,

I could tell that we weren't just best friends anymore. "Leighlani Calistah Hepburn, will you be my girlfriend?" I stood there smiling like an idiot, then I realized that I hadn't answered yet. I immediately answered "Yes!!" and he just laughed and said "yay!" .

from that moment on we were no longer best friends till the end. we were boyfriend and girlfriend. and there was no better way to be. after he left I started dancing around my room. I was super happy!! I couldn't believe what had just happened.

Shane's P.O.V.

Today my best friend became my girlfriend.

Things like that don't happen on a normal basis. I realized how much I loved her today. it was a good feeling. and hopefully that good feeling will last a long time. But for now, I can only hope it works out.

(Senior year)

Leigh's P.O.V.

it's been 3 and a half glorious years of dating Shane.

And I still feel as if we just started going out. the butterflies are still there and happily alive in my nerves. the tingles when we kiss, yup still there. We still feel the sparks. and that's amazing. Today is the first day of Senior year. and i'm very excited, but scared at the same time. This is the last year of public school before going off to college. And god knows where me and Shane are going to get accepted to. Senior year also means Prom, Graduation parties and Senior Skip days. and I'll be loving every minute of it. I hear a Car horn honking outside my door. I happily grab my black with pink hearts jansport. straighten out my pink plaid skirt, my white shirt and my pink mini sweater and head out the door. wearing pink converse to match.

"Well you look very.. Pink today." he says laughing,

I pout. "what babe?! it looks cute. it looks good. " I smile and then he kisses me . Another beautiful, perfect kiss. that's all I needed. He then shoves a bunch of college applications towards me. "Early bird catches the worm" I rolls my eyes and groan. ugh! I hate college applications. then I realize that there's a stack of applications for only one college. Juliard, in new york city. and then I smile. He realizes my wide grin and he says, "they'd be crazy not to accept you." . And I say "i'll happily fill these out and pray for the best.".

Shane's P.O.V.

Every day is like the first. Every time I look at her it's like the first time.

I never though I'd actually be saying that, but I just did. and it feels so right. So when I go to pick her up at her house, I honk the horn and 2 minutes later a beautiful girl dressed up in pink comes out. And i'm proud to say that she's my girlfriend. The love of my life. "Well you look very.. Pink today." I say with a laugh and she pouts. "What babe?! it looks cute. it looks good." I say and she smiles. I kissed her and gave her a stack of college applications "Early bird Catches the worm." Cheesy, I know. but then she rolls her eyes until she realizes that all the applications were to juliard. the school she's been dreaming of going to since she was a little kid. I grin and say "they'd be crazy not to accept you." then she says "i'll happily fill these out and pray for the best."

The rest of the way I watched her fill out an application and then stick it in a mannila envelope and address it. I giver her a stamp and we put it in the mailbox. Then we make it to school and let our first day of our last year begin. Little does she know that I got accepted into Columbia University in New York. And that if she got into Juliard (which she will) ,we will be together all through college.
