Chapter 4- Mine

Shane's P.O.V.

Her words actually hurt, with every snap that she came back with;

it kept biting more and more into me "psh , yeah sure. why? you don't like me like that. and i've been told that very loud and clear by your actions." "Leighlani.." I said. Now she knew I was serious, I only used her full first name when I was serious about something. There she stood, shocked at the sound of her full name being spoken and then a few tears fell from her cheeks. That of course started killing me.. seeing her cry and all. I felt like Forrest Gump, helpless and stupid.

I needed to tell her the way I felt, and fast.

I didn't know that with every action I made, every word I said I had been pushing her more and more away.Something that I didn't want, on the Contrary. I wanted her. more than anything in the world I wanted her. She then looked up at me and I put my hand on her cheek and I wiped a tear away. she looked even more shocked. "look, I didn't think it was possible for me to like you, but guess what? I ended up falling for you. after the song and watching you cry and everything you told me, I realized that what I WAS looking had been standing right in my face the whole entire time. and I was blind enough not to see it . and i'm sorry."

Leigh's P.O.V.

I was in complete and utter shock with those bittersweet words that shane said.

"look, I didn't think it was possible for me to like you, but guess what? I ended up falling for you. after the song and watching you cry and everything you told me, I realized that what I WAS looking had been standing right in my face the whole entire time. and I was blind enough not to see it . and i'm sorry." I stood there in denial. how could this be happening? this Can't happen, it Should happen. this feels so right and wrong at the same time. then an unexpected thing happens. He kissed me.

I stood there completely motionless, then I got into the moment

Realizing what was happening. I let his lips press against mine and there it happened. my first kiss. And it was beautiful. This moment felt so right.

Shane's P.O.V.

I got the guts to tell her how I felt.

her face looked like she was in denial, but to prove it to her... I kissed her. And that was the best kiss I have ever experienced. I loved that moment. At first she was stiff, but then she got into it and realized that I had just kissed her. I can't believe I actually gave her, her first kiss. This moment felt soo right despite the fact that we were best friends and this could possibly ruin our friendship forever. But all that didn't matter at the moment. all that mattered was that she was in my arms... where she belonged.
