Back story: Archie and Veronica went to a party at Cheryl's house and now they are all playing truth or dare. Betty and Jughead are against Veronica as they struggle to uncover the truth about her father's business and Archie and Veronica are not a thing officially because Betty has been encouraging Archie to not pursue Veronica. Varchie only happens in secret.
Anyone could feel the tension rising in that room, a group of horny and shady teenagers circled around an empty bottle, an exaggerated amount of alcohol already down everyone's throats.
Everyone had made an appearance at the most important party of the year, but now only Reggie, Veronica, Toni, Cheryl, Kevin, Archie, Betty, Jughead and moose remained. Veronica was nervous, her palms getting more and more sweaty by the second, her gaze focused on her lap and as for Archie, he couldn't keep his eyes off the raven haired beauty, he could see that she was nervous, he was too, keeping their relationship a secret was killing him, his best friends were totally against the raven haired princess and he always tried his best to protect her but it was difficult without revealing their relationship, he had to respect Veronica's wishes.
"Okay party animals lets get this game rolling" Cheryl said, not taking more than a few seconds to spin the old beer bottle.
"Andrews" Reggie called making Archie turn his gaze from Veronica for the first time to the bottle pointing towards him.
"Truth or dare?" Veronica turned to look at her secret lover, her fingers now fiddling with her rings trying to pass the stress to somewhere else, he bottom lip stuck between her teeth, and Reggie's left arm crawling up her back, a move that hadn't passed unnoticed by Archie.
"Truth" the redhead answered not knowing which option was worse
"Are you interest in someone sat on this circle" Toni immediately suggested bringing curious looks amongst everyone. Archie scanned the whole room, his eyes landing on Veronica who quickly but discreetly shook her head no, he couldn't contain himself anymore, he wanted to be with her, not in secret, not sneaking around but in front of everyone, he was so proud of that amazing girl that he couldn't hide her, he just couldn't.
"Yes" from the moment that that word left the redhead everyone started whispering and pressuring the boy to spill whoever the lucky girl was.
"Oh my god, just spill it!" Toni pressured again but he couldn't do that to his lover, the hot pink colored cheeks that marked Veronica's face told him that it probably wasn't the best idea.
"You've already asked your question Tony" the boy stated making everyone move on from the incident and chose another person to spin the bottle. This situation was killing her also, she loved Archie more than everything and that was why she had to keep whatever they had going on behind the walls of their houses, she couldn't get Archie involved in her father's mad scheme, she couldn't loose him, the only piece of goodness in her life.
That's why she couldn't face him, but she also couldn't give up all the stolen kisses and hugs that they shared, however, he didn't understand, so he kept persuading her and tonight it was no different, his eyes glued to her body and to her beautiful face trying to make her understand that he didn't want to hide anymore.
All of their thoughts were interrupted by Betty grabbing the bottle and spinning it, everyone's eyes on the main object and the shy blonde that suddenly was not so shy anymore.
The raven haired princess looked at Archie longingly, an escape, that was what she needed, and he wanted to give her one, that was what he wanted to do most but there was nothing that could save her from Betty's cruelty.
"Veronica" the blonde girl called For the queen bee as the bottle stopped on her and everyone went deadly quiet, so quiet that it was possible to hear the sound of a needle falling on the hard wooden floor.
"Yes Betty" Veronica was used to this, her posture now strait and her eyes pierced on the blond girls face, even though she was beyond frightened on the inside te only one that could see it was Archie, after all she wasn't the mafia princess in vain, she handled confrontation for fun.
"Truth or dare?" The blonde shot back
"Truth" Veronica was giving her exactly what she wanted, she knew what she was doing. Archie was uneasy, he was scared that he would see Veronica crumble right in front of him but, at the same time he knew that she was the strongest person he had ever met and that was one of the things that he loved the most about her.
"So, you look like the perfect girl right? You have everything you want, millions of boys at your feet, designer clothes and daddy lodge buying everything you want... what you don't know everybody is that Veronica and her whole family are just using this whole mayoral race as a facade of deep mafia business and Veronica is the lead piece of this puzzle, she robbed money from the st. Clair's..." Veronica scanned the room, everyone looked at her with disgust and betrayal and Archie, her dear Archie, had the most confused look on his face, the girl had to stay strong.
"Betty I think that's enough" the redhead boy said not wanting to presence all this cruelty towards the one he loved the most
"No Archie you didn't even hear the best part yet! Veronica here, daddy's little girl, is even in a book kept by the bulldogs where they score points for every time they touch her, if you know what I mean" the innocent boy couldn't believe it, he though his hands were the only ones that traced her beautiful body late at night, that his lips were the the only ones that caressed her soft tan skin in places that were just to personal to share, that the love that they made in his room, a secret between the two teenagers, was as important to her as it was to him. He turned to look at her, her eyes closed for a moment, as if she was starting to avoid the judging glances, a single crystal tear rolling down her cheeks and falling on her lap before looking at the Archie one last time, grabbing her purse and sprinting off the house, heading to the drive way.
The redhead got up, the room still silent, intending on following Ronnie but being stopped by the last person that we wanted to be touched by at the moment.
"Thank you Betty, thank you for showing every single one of us who the real shallow toxic mean bitch is" the boy said the words that he never thought could leave his mouth about his best friend "oh, don't worry, that's definitely you" the boy shot back again, anger consuming his body, veins on his arms and forehead super visible as he sprinted towards the princess that stood in the middle of the drive way in front of tistel house
"Ronnie"
"Ronnie wait!"
"VERONICA" the boy shouted finally being able to stop his Juliet from escape, the tear stained girl turning around to look at him.
"Cmon you're freezing cold, take my jacket" the boy put his letterman jacket over her uncovered shoulders, an offer that she would have declined if she wasn't in a tight crop top and mini skirt in the middle of winter.
"What do you want Archie?" The words came sharp out of her mouth, just like knifes.
"You know I want you, out of those terrible four walls"
"We can't Archie" the girl backed away, as if he touched her he wouldn't be able to ever leave his soft embrace ever again.
"Could you stop with that bullshit Veronica?"
"Didn't you hear what Betty said?Archie please you're only making this harder" the redhead wasn't giving up on the girl he loved
"Ronnie I can't keep doing this, you're everything I ever wished for and I'm not ready to let you go but this whole secret thing is killing me, for God's sake its 2018 we can be together if we want, there's nothing or no one stopping us" Archie explained his hands moving forwards to reach the girl's waist and her body also moving allowing him all the access before trying to wipe her tears, unsuccessfully
"You think it's easy? You think I don't wanna run to you? But there are a million obstacles and signals that this isn't right, that we are not meant to be, I love u so much and that's why I can't bring into this, don't you get it? You are the most wonderful boy I have ever met I don't want you to loose yourself!" Te girl exclaimed earning a small pouted from Archie, he was at loss for words, he couldn't express her feeling begging her to stay but he also couldn't ask why it had to be like this, why the best thing in his life had to be taken away from him, he treasured every little moment that they had spent together, even if it was only real for the two of them and not existent to the rest of the world. Her soft thumb reached to his chin bringing his gaze back to her face
"I know you're wondering why because we are able to be just you and me within four walls but when we go outside you're gonna wake up and see that if was hopeless after all"
"What are you so afraid Ronnie?"
"I'm afraid to lose you! Look at you, if Good was a person it would be you Archie and know look at me I'm filled with bad, bad is around me everywhere I go, it's simple not in our destiny"
"We can change it" the hopeless boy wasn't ready to give up, she was too amazing to just give away that easily, earning a humorless laugh from her
"No one can change destiny, everything keeps up apart and I'm not the one you were meant to find" suddenly she could feel a small shy tear rolled down Archie's jaw to her hand making her caress his cheek
"His not up to you Archiebald" the boy brought her close to his chest, he wasn't ready to let her go
"It feels impossible" the girl remarked, sadly resting her whole body against his
"It's not impossible" the boy whispered against her sweet smell, Archie Andrews could be many things but he certainly wasn't a quitter
"How do we change our destiny?" The beautiful girl lifted her head to look at his brown deep eyes, a small sad smile creeping up on her face
"Just accept that you were made to be mine" the redhead added feeling her heart beat against his now tear stained shirt, he gently grabbed the side of her face like they had done it so many times and collided his lips against her soft luscious ones, but this time it wasn't rushed, they took their time, savoring every single second of it.
"Nothing can keep us apart" Archie spoke, his head against hers, but she couldn't bring herself to do that to him, she couldn't live with herself if she brought him into the mafia life, if he ended up hurt, she loved him so deeply that it hurt her. She backed away, her hands unwrapping from his, the only thing left of him on her body being his jacket, it was time to say goodbye.
"You know I want you, I don't try to hide it, but I can't have you, we are bound to break and my hands are tied" the girl turned around and walked to her car, every muscle in Archie's body too weak to be able to follow her.Did you like it??? Please sisters give me some
