part 2

I gathered up my pack and said, "I'm on my way. Over."

Cody said, "Okay." His voice went brittle when he asked, "Easter are you okay babe?"

Easter answered lovingly, "Yes, I will be alright."

I smiled at them as I walked out of the room.

I went and found Louis and Violet. I asked, "I need help doing something, you in?"

Louis said, "An adventure. Sure. I'm in."

Vi said, "What's the something?"

I said, "Well I -"

Cody said, "Clem I don't mean to rush you but Easter's bleeding a lot."

She butted in, "I'm fine."

Cody said, "No you're not. You have a stick run through your leg."

Easter growled, "I'll be fine." There was a slight pause then Easter asked, "Where are Snowflake and Coal?"

Cody said, "I don't know. Do you want me to use the whistle?"

Easter said, "Yes, please."

We were on are way during this part of the conversation. I almost panicked, but they're smart. I can tell.

The radio went silent. I started running double time.

When we got there all the walkers was killed. They had arrows in them, and their heads were sliced open.

We were shocked. There had been a lot of walkers here except now there dead.

I saw her sitting in a puddle of blood. I said, "Easter!" I turned to Louis and Vi, "We need to get them back to the school."

I tried to walk to her when two wolves walked in between her and me. I backed away.

Easter said, "Calm down you two. They're friends. The wolves sat down and started wagging their tails. Easter said, "Sorry about that, they're really protective."

Cody came over with 10 wooden arrows in hand.

Easter said sadly, "Aww man. That's all of them you could salvage."

Cody said, "Yeah, the rest was broken or bent."

"Oh well. I can make more."

Cody picked her up very carefully. She yelped. Cody said, "I'm sorry."

Easter said strained, "It's okay. I know you didn't mean it."

Louis asked, "How long have you two been out here?"

Cody answered, "Oh, it's been like five years."

Easter nodded. She was mouthing some song.

She was a little shorter than me, maybe 5ft tall. She was about my physique. She had brown hair and green-gray eyes. She had a tan. She wore a dark green t-shirt and had a gray jacket on. She wore a pair of camo cargo pants and had muk boots on.

Cody had brown hair and hazel eyes. He also had a tan. He wore a baby blue long sleeve shirt, he had a black coat tied around his waist, and he had on a black pair of cargo pants. He was Louis's height and was twice as muscled. He also had muk boots on. They were about our age.

She said, "Snowy, girl, come here." The white wolf walked up beside Cody. She dropped her hand so the wolf could lick it. She said, "All right, Snowy return."

We were confused. Then Snowflake turned into a ball of white energy and disappeared into a tattoo on Easter's right hand.

I started to ask aboutit but, was cut off by Easter saying, "We will explain later."
