Finally, we made it back. Surprisingly enough Easter looked pretty good despite her current condition.

Her bleeding had slowed, her color was fine. She was one tough woman, that's for sure.

I have a feeling that she's tougher than Cody and is a lot stronger than she looks.

'Come to think of it that sounds kinda, like me.' I thought.

Louis asked, "What song are you humming?"

Easter looked to her right to look at him, "Done by Band Perry."

Cody smiled, "The first country song you ever heard."

Easter looked pleasantly surprised, "You remembered."

Cody said, "Of course. Why wouldn't I remember my wife's favorite song and why it's her favorite."

Her smile got bigger with those words.

They are nice people. I was right. They're weird and strange but nice.

I feel like I can trust them even though I just meet them. I don't get that feeling much anymore.

I looked behind me to make sure of no walkers were following us, but Coal was watching our back.

We could see the gates. Soon they opened.

Everyone crowed around Cody and Easter. She looked very uncomfortable, so I said, "Ok, guys back to work."

Since Marlon is dead and everyone looks at me to be their leader. It's a lot of responsibility but I don't really mind.

AJ ran over and hugged me. I hugged him back. "Everything okay?" I asked.

He replied, "Yes." He looked at Easter and Cody and asked, "Who are they?"

I answered, "Our new friends." He smiled and went back over to the bench where Tenn was drawing. I smiled.

I had Cody bring her to my room. Since that the first place I thought of.

I had Cody lay her down on my bed while, I sat down on AJ's.

Once she was about as comfy as she could get, we had to get the stick out of her leg.

She said, "Cody tie me down and gag me."

It was unsettling how calm she had said that. But Cody did as he was told though he was reluctant.

Once that was done Vi asked, "Everyone ready?"

I was holding bandage as was Vi. Cody was going to pull the stick out. Louis had walked out of the room by that point not wanting to see his new friend in pain.

Cody and I said, "Yes." Easter nodded.

"Alright on the count of three."

"One..."

"Two..."

"Three!"

Easter bit down on the gag and screamed. She tried to hit us.

It was a good thing she knew she was going to react this way, or somebody would had been seriously hurt.

She soon pasted out from shock and pain but would be fine.
