Hey guys!! Today I am going to list my favorite hair styles for back to school or any school day really. These hair styles are so easy and are great if you want to change your hair every once in a while instead of keeping it the same for weeks on end. I try to do all of these myself throughout the school week and honestly save me the time instead of straightening or curling my hair in the morning which for me takes FOREVER. Some of these styles are over night curls/waves and others are styles that take a few hair ties and bobby pins, so see what you like and tell me your favorites in the comments below.
The "Ariana Grande" ponytail:
This one is so easy and looks absolutely stunning on all hair styles. Gather your hair into a regular ponytail but before you secure it take a good strand of hair out and separate it. Secure the rest of your hair into your ponytail. Then, wrap the extra strand you separated around your ponytail to cover up the hair tie. Secure with bobby pins and you are finished.
Overnight BEACH WAVES:
If it is just one of those days when you are really missing summer than this is for you. Wash your hair and wear a tank top to sleep (trust me it's important). Take three or four sections of your hair and separate them. Take each section and separate them into two parts. Then, twist those two parts like the swirl designs you see every where (not complicated at all I promise. Just put n in front of the other and keep twisting). Secure with hair tie and do this for all four sections. Once completed, intertwine two sections around one strap of your tank top and the other two in the other strap (I told you the tank top was important). Sleep and when you wake up undo all the twists and you are left with bouncy beach waves for the day.
Loose, messy top knot:
This hair style is the less complicated version of your typical top knot. Make a really high ponytail with your hair as high as it can go. Then instead of trying to make a bun take small strands of your hair in the ponytail and loosely wrap it around the bottom of the ponytail, securing with bobby pins as you go. You don't have to make it tight around the ponytail (like the Ariana Grande ponytail). You can even secure the strands around the top of your head. Do this process until you have secured all your hair and you're done! It looks like a big mess on your head but it's out of your face and it looks pretty cute in my opinion.
Braid crown:
Very chic, and simple and you could even do half a braid crown if you are running low on time! Just take a small section of your hair in the front of your face and braid like normal. Wrap the braid along the side of your head, like where a crown would be. Secure with bobby pins and you are good to go. I've used this style for years and is so simple for any type of hair you might have. You could even make it easier and instead of braiding the section of hair you can twist it! Even easier and just as cute.
Half up, half down braid:
This is more on the time consuming side but it is still easy. Put your hair half up half down and take the extra hair in the back and begin to braid it, grabbing more of the hair that is already DOWN each time you braid. This is kind of similar to the French braid but you can grab as little or as much as you want. This could either make the extra hair in the back from your half up half down a lot cuter OR make all of you hair into a SUPER PRETTY BRAID that starts from your half up half down. This look is very customizable and you can change it up every time you try the look!
Fishtail braid:
I KNOW YOU ALL HAVE ALREADY HEARD OF THIS BRAID BUT YOU CAN DO SOOO MUCH WITH IT!! You can make it into two braids, run it down your entire head like a French braid, make braid crowns with it, make it loose and bubbly by pulling it apart after securing it, and soooo much more. The possibilities with the fishtail braid or ENDLESS. ANNDDD it is by far the easiest type of braid ANYONE CAN LEARN. If you want you could take it to a whole new LEVEL by taking bobby pins and pushing the part of the braid by your neck to one side of you face so it looks like it was braided to the left or right all on its own! All I really have to say is look into the fishtail braid and you won't regret it.
Framed hair:
This is a weird name for this hair style but I really don't know how else to describe this look. Remember the twist braid method I mentioned earlier? Do that to a medium sized section on one side of your hair by the front of your face. Bobby pin it behind your ear to down by your neck, all the bottom part of where your hair starts on the back of your neck. Then push all your hair to one side and keep it that way. Your hair is now looks framed from the back and it looks really cool. This is the definition of taking your regular hair and bringing it back to life!
Overnight curls:
Do the same thing as the overnight beach waves except use normal braids and you don't have to wrap it around a tank top strap (the strap hack was so that the braid doesn't fall out and loosen up so if you want you can do this part but it is not necessary). This give you pretty wave like curls but they last for such a long time (I'm talking about the next time you wash your hair long time). To get a bouncy, curling iron curl use pencils or straws for small curls and rollers for big curls (they sell overnight rollers everywhere in any beauty store and they really do work). If you don't want to buy the rollers, rolled up paper stuffed with cotton balls work just fine (will make DIY on how to do that by letting me know in the comments below).
Bubble ponytail:
To start, make a normal ponytail at any height you want. Then secure every inch of hair in the ponytail with a hair tie. Do this to the bottom of your ponytail. Then stretch out the parts in between each hair tie of the ponytail so that it looks like bubbles in your hair. This is honestly the easiest and most simple way to spice up ANY PONYTAIL EVER.
The BRAID PONYTAIL:
THE HAIR STYLE IS IN THE NAME PEOPLE. Braid your hair into two sections like normal. Then, twist the two braids into one and secure that with another hair tie and BOOM. THE BRAID PONYTAIL. ANOTHER EASY AND SIMPLE WAY TO SPICE UP YOUR PONYTAIL AND TAKES LITERALLY ZERO SECONDS.
Flipped up hair:
This one you can do with a straightener but WHO HAS TIME FOR THAT AM I RIGHT? all you have to do is brush your hair and stop right before you complete your brush. Rotate the brush towards you so that your hair will be flipped out. Then before you release the tip of your hair HAIRSPRAY THE CRAP OUT OF IT. This keeps the little flip in tact for a while and is a subtle, yet cute change to leaving your hair down.
SO THAT IS IT FOR SOME EASY SCHOOL HAIR STYLES. I really hoped you guys enjoyed this chapter make sure you vote and comment below which style was your favorite.
