Hey guys!!! Today I am going to share with you some back to school DIYs. I'm sure that most of you already started school, including myself. I just started my SENIOR YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL. To me, it is insane that I'm a senior since I've been writing on Wattpad since I was in 7th grade. WOW. But anyway here are some easy, fun, and cute back to school DIYs.
Collage Binder:
Supplies:
-Scrapbook paper or large computer paper
-Binder
-Magazines
-Scissors
-Glue stick
-Modge podgeSteps:
1. Measure your paper to the slip that is in the front of every binder. Cut the paper to fit perfectly in the clear part of your binder.
2. Cut out magazine clippings of your choice. Whatever inspires you or you find cute, cut it out to put on your collage later.
3. Collaging is one of my favorite activities and it is soooo easy. Use the glue stick to glue the clippings down to the paper. Make sure they stay inside the paper and if they happen to go off the edge of the paper, just cut it off. Overlapping is totally ok. Make it your own.
4. When you are finished with your final product, modge podge the entire sheet of paper to secure all the clippings so that they don't lift off the paper.
5. Slide your collage in the front of your binder and tada! A beautiful and cute binder.Geometric notebook:
Supplies:
-Composition notebook (other notebooks have a plastic instead of a cardboard cover so for this DIY you need a cardboard covered notebook.
-Washy tape
- Acrylic paint
-Paint brush
-ScissorsSteps:
1. Cut the washy tape into strips and place them accordingly on the notebook. Use the washy tape to make triangles and squares, geometric shapes on the notebook. Do not place extra tape behind the cover of the notebook. Leave it be, you are going to need that extra bit of tape to pull off the tape.
2. Once the tape is applied, paint the entire notebook with the color or colors of your choice. If you are going to use multiple colors, I recommend you use well blended colors so you could do an ombre effect.
3. Before the paint dries, SLOWLY peal off the washy tape. If you do it when it's dry, the paint could life or chip.
4. After the paint dries, you are welcome to either put a clear coat of paint or modge podge the entire cover of the notebook ANNNNNDDDD YOU'RE DONE!!P.S. WASHY TAPE YOUR PENCILS WHILE YOU ARE AT IT. THAT IS LITERALLY THE EASIEST DIY EVER!!!!!!!!!!
Splattered backpack:
Supplies:
-Backpack
-Acrylic paint
-Paint brush
-That's it.Steps:
1. It seems pretty explanatory. SPLATTER THE BACKPACK. Just make sure you do it outside or in an environment that can get messy. Also make sure you whip the brush in the direction of the backpack instead of brushing the bristles with your fingers to get the splatter. Whipping it is less messy on you and gives it the real splatter effect.
2. Also it can be washed as long as the back pack is watched. But to make sure the paint does not fade, before the paint dries shake the backpack so that any big drops of paint can fall off, leaving you with paint that can completely dry down and seem into the fabric of the backpack and YOU ARE FINISHED.P.S. YOU CNA DO THIS WITH ANY SCHOOL SUPPLIES. LUNCHBOXES, PENCIL CASES, JUST MAKE SURE THEY ARE FABRIC.
SORRY THIS IS A LITTLE LATE. OKAY IT IS VERY LATE CAUSE I HAVE BEEN VERY BUSY. Maybe I can give you guys an update (and spill some tea ;) ) But those are a few back to school DIYs. I hoped you enjoyed it. And comment below for not chapter suggestions.
